These pads are so much better and cleaner than traditional pads. They are thin so you may have to do two layers but they cool so much better.

This roll of cut to fit swamp cooler pad is perfect for me. I wish this stuff was cheaper, but they work really really well.

I really like the fact that this a "cut to fit application!" This stuff is constructed very well and doesn't have that mildew smell that a lot of the older coolers have that use the grass type media.

It works okay. I've had others that dissipate the water better throughout the membrane which provide a much cooler airflow. This one seems to not soak up the whole pad

Doesn't cool half as well as the aspen fiber pads. I put up with these pads for a few weeks convincing myself they weren't the issue. At 95 degrees and 8% humidity the air temp coming out of my cooler was 86. I checked everything but finally I removed this material and installed new wood fiber pads and instantly the air output was 70 degrees. Plus the wood fiber pads were 1/3 the price. This stuff is a waste of money.

Doesn't actually hold any moisture in it. If that's what you want in a humidifier pad I recommend something better. Try MAF2 style padding and you'll never even look at this again.
