Product exactly as described....the second hand "truly sweeps quietly" without any clicks or jerky motions....it looks quite elegant on the wall, can be viewed from all angles, and across a large room. The light weight of the clock makes it easy to hang, background on the Face of the clock is light enough to look contemporary, yet with just a hint of an aged look to it, not so much by the color of the face, more by the design of the "hands" and Numbering Font used. It hangs easily, with no special hardware, and the 16" size truly makes a statement in my room. It's been running only a few weeks, but is totally silent and very appealing, especially in a larger room.

I've had this clock for a number of years. Bought it because I could hear the ticking of my other clock at night. This clock does not make a sound. It seems to keep great time. When I adjust it for daylight savings time, it is only off by a minute or two. Battery life has been very good, I've only changed it a couple of times. I love the look of this clock and do recommend it if you're looking for something quiet, or just a nice looking analog clock.

I needed a small clock for our kitchen to replace the one we had for the past 24 years. It’s mounted in an area that is 11 inches and this was the only clock that looked good and was easy to read. This clock is a good fit. It also has a nice rustic look that kind of reminds me of a port hole on a ship. When I first got the clock last week, I put a flesh alkaline battery in it and set it to the exact second using my short wave radio. I left it leaning on pillow on one of the chairs in my Sunroom. I just wanted to make sure it was working for 24 hours before mounting it on the wall. Later the next day I checked the time again and it was almost 1 second fast so I hung it on the wall. After about three days I noticed it was running almost 3 seconds fast. That’s almost a second per day. So today (after about five days), it was still running fast and since I am a stickler for the exact time, I figured I would compromise and temporarily take the battery out for about 15 seconds so now I know it’s running a few seconds slow. That’s fine. I don’t know why these new sweep second clocks all seem to run fast. I don’t know if this clock is a quartz clock, since last month I purchased a quartz wall clock for the Living Room and that clock is a few seconds fast right now. I never had this issue with any clock I’ve ever purchased before. Maybe after a while the clock will slow down.

I am very disappointed with this wall clock. The battery has been replaced twice, and each time a brand-new battery was used. Despite this, the clock keeps stopping frequently and does not function consistently. This issue appears to be a manufacturing defect, as a wall clock should operate normally with a new battery. Due to the repeated malfunction and poor reliability, I am not satisfied with the product quality. I would not recommend this item based on my experience.
