Easy and High Quality
This kickstand is perfect! It adjusts, very precisely, in very small increments. It's extremely easy to install, which I did in about 30 seconds, using only an adjustable wrench. You could probably use a pair of pliers if you don't have a wrench. It even has a lock washer included. You need the type of frame shown in the picture though. This is a 16 inch bicycle, but if you enlarge the photo, you can see the wide range of adjustments available. Should work for almost any size bike. It's very easy for kids to kick it up and down and it's completely out of the way when they're riding. It's unbelievable that this is available at such a great price! I would buy it again, any day!

Great Bike Stand for the price!
I bought 2 of these, one for my son's 14" bike and the other for my 26" bike. It fit both of them perfectly. Installation was about 10-15 minutes each and I am the type that does not use a toolbox that much. With the 14" bike, the stand was installed with the shortest slot. The stand is pretty sturdy as it is double layered(because no extension). I would think that a 14" bike would be the smallest bike size for this stand as the bike is slanted just right with the stand out. With the 26" bike, the stand was installed with one slot short from the longest. The stand is still good but you would not want to put any weight on it besides the bike itself. Unlike the 14" bike, the stand is almost fully extended so the stand is a little weak. Another recommendation would be to superglue the rubber protector on the tip of the stand as this will fall off pretty easily. My son almost lost his before I glued it on. Overall, the stand does the job and at this price, it looks good and I am happy. If you cycle on the daily basis I would recommend you to get a more sturdy one for the adult bikes.

Works great
The kickstand arrived quickly and was very easy to install. As other reviewers have stated, the kickstand is VERY hard to rotate back and forth, HOWEVER, put some WD40 on the hinge and it slides just fine.I love the fact that it is adjustable and fit my 4 year old sons bike perfect with a middle adjustment setting.I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the fact that I had to lubricate the hinge (which again is really no big deal though)

Works as Needed!
We purchased this kickstand for a 12-inch children's bike--worked as expected. Easy install and can be adjusted for larger bikes when that time comes. The install was less than 5 minutes and involved one tool. There are a couple of previous comments about this kickstand not working on smaller bikes, but it does... I'll add that the bike stands on its own just fine--albeit a bit more vertical than I would have chosen, but we're at the lowest setting possible. It will definitely take more than a breeze to knock it down--but, a good lesson for the children on "how to position" the bike. And, an observation: This kickstand is stiff--which means that it will not collapse onto itself. However, it also means that your children *may* need help with moving the kickstand up or down until they get used to that motion...

Works, but Soft...
So I purchased this kickstand at the end of 2017 apparently, 4 years ago now, and it was straightforward to install and get to length with just one person. Only issue I have now however is the bracket itself that goes from bike to movable parts is not hardened (or hardened enough) and slowly starts to bend outward with weight and use.I only just recently realized this was happening, as I had my father-inlaw service my little old bike for me, and he commented that he adjusted the kickstand length cause it was leaning too much. Well I thought this odd as I knew I had it just right for the balance of my bike as it's a bit top heavy. Well a week later I'm about to take it out, and saw that it was leaning quite heavily, got the screwdriver and went to lengthen the kickstand again but then stopped myself realizing it would be the SECOND time since I first installed it! I then managed to push the kickstand with MY HAND back to the angle it originally started at!Not sure what's going on, but I'm currently deciding to invest in a new kickstand that hopefully will last much longer, I personally need a strong one as my 1972 bike is naturally on the heavy size and I also use it with saddle bags for grocery runs and now that has a huge effect on the poor stand. (The use of saddle bags is post the initial discovery of the soft bracket and was not a factor that started it.)

High quality kickstand.
We bought this for our daughters bike, that came with training wheels. She finally shed the extra wheels, so it was time for a kickstand. This installed very easily, but I could see there being issues depending the the bicycle style/design, but in our case it fit nearly perfectly. It is easily adjustable as well. I think the only issue we have with it, is that it is quite stiff, and doesn't move into, or out of position very easily; she has to hop off of the bike usually to put the stand down. Afaik, there is no way to adjust the stiffness. Other than that, it's a good value for the price.

Great kickstand for kid's bikes
I bought two of these for my kid's bikes, 16" and 18". One had a plate w/ a hole for a kickstand, and the other did not. This kickstand was simple to install on both bikes. On the one with the plate, I just installed it with the included bolt (I used a shorter bolt I had, but the included one would have worked), and on the bike without the plate, I used the included bracket. The kickstand length was very easy to install. You remove a screw, adjust the leg to the correct length so the bike slightly leans over, and reinstall the screw into the hole, holding the leg in place. Very easy, and they work well. The kids love them, and no more dropping their bikes on the concrete.
