I bought these to retrofit HUE LED light strips into a media wall at home, and they’ve worked brilliantly. They sit neatly in the back corner of each shelf, giving a really clean, professional finish and diffusing the light beautifully—no harsh, visible LEDs. The milky cover makes a huge difference to the overall look. The aluminium channels feel solid and well made, and they come with everything you need: end caps, mounting clips, and corner connectors. Installation was straightforward and beginner‑friendly. As someone doing this as part of a DIY project, I found them easy to cut, position, and fit, and they’ve completely elevated the look of the shelves. I’ve added a short video showing the installation—it’s much easier to see how they fit in place and the difference they make once lit. Overall, these are a great choice if you want a polished, high‑end finish for LED strip lighting. Definitely worth it for media walls, shelving, or any setup where appearance matters.

These are great, the channel is solid yet light weight. The diffuser clips in really easily and fixes in well. It came with more than enough screws and plugs. Very pleased overall. Lining is is a little fiddly but easily manageable. If they offered a made to measure service that would be ideal. It I understand coming from China it would really move out the delivery. Maybe offer in larger lengths? Then customers can trim to fit their individual sizes! But for the money I was very pleased. Once installed they are very asthetically pleasing too. I found an easier was to match them up neatly was to find the length I needed by trimming one length to achieve my 3.23m, then assembled on M3 mounting tape. Took the whole piece in lines up and peeled off the reverse and secured with the mounting tape. It gave a much neater finish to lining them up.

These are easy to fit, look OK and do what they need to do. However, the metal is very thin and the plastic is also very thin so that may affect the durability over time. They could also do with something to connect two bits together to make the lines more accurate (a simple triangular bit of plastic?). The covers were a bit fiddly to attach but once they are clicked in they appear to be fairly secure. These are a cheap product and that is reflected in the construction and materials used so keep that in mind for your use case. They were easy to cut with a fine toothed hacksaw too. If these are fitted high up and indoors they will probably be fine. If they are outside or are within touching distance, they may not last as long.

Quality pieces. Little fiddly to install but worth it.

Fitted these into my sons bedroom and he loves these, makes the led runs look professional and smart. First I installed the holding clips onto a black painted long wooden baton. Then once happy they were in line and even, secured the baton to the wall with screws and rawl plugs, then placed the aluminium channels into the clips thereby hiding the fixing screws. They make a nice click sound when inserted. Then ran the self adhesive led strips along the channel, I didn’t need any extra glue as they adhered well to the aluminium. Finally I installed the diffusers, I did have a little difficulty with the first one, but by the 2nd I had it down. I found inserting one end in at an angle allowed it to fit into the channel and then ran my fingernail along the edge pushed the the diffuser in easily. Unfortunately the photos I took don’t do it justice, the diffuser does a good job of softening the led lights and helps to give a more even glow. Can’t wait to start placing them all over the house now. Awesome product.

This is an odd mix of well and poorly designed elements. The diffuser cover is difficult to fit, the instructions suggest sliding it on but the lip is not wide enough to hold it so that's impossible managed to click on at least one but it was tricky. The corner pieces are a mixed bag, the strip has to be threaded through them first as there's no other way to get them on which renders the mounting holes pretty pointless in continuous sections - if only they had been in two parts a back and front plate that would have made the whole process so much easier. By contrast the wasll mounting brackets for the straight section are a simple clever click in design. Not sure what the final effects will be but a few small design changes would have made things much simpler.

Excellent solution for LED strip lighting when you want to hide 1) the strip 2) angle the light 3) cover a joint. Great value for 3m of this aluminium profile with diffuser and fittings. Unlike other reviews I found this easy to fit and easy to get good joints, but I did think about it all before rushing in and used a couple of handy tools to make life easy! As well as the usual pencil/ tape/pilot drill diy stuff, I found having a magnetic bit holder on my driver helpful with fiddly screws held on high, plus a slim mastic-trowel helped ease the brackets open so the profile clipped in quick. I measured placement of the brackets accurately, getting them right into the corners and placed one at each end of each strip, with another in the centre. To fit the profile into the bracket I used a ‘top in first’ method, then clipping in the bottom by using the thin flat end of my mastic trowel to slightly open the bracket. Finished off by sliding the profile along within its brackets to butt up the joint. A little patience and thought and it turned out well, for the cost (c£20 for 6M inc delivery) I’m absolutely delighted. Used this in my van conversion roofline for roofline 12v led lighting - perfect! Yet to have my light strips connected/fitted, but very impressed with quality, value, speedy delivery and ease of fitting/finished look - 5* from me!

Blitzschnelle Lieferung und sehr einfach zu verarbeiten. Tolle QUalität. HAbe jedoch nicht die beiliegenden Schrauben un dBefestigungsclips genutzt, sondern das "gute, alte Silikon" Nur das "Einfrickeln der Deckleite" ist etwas kniffelig. Aber wenn der Anfang einmal gemacht ist funktioniert es gut. Mit dem eingelegten LED-Schlauch sieht die Küche jetzt total g... aus ;-)

Der Artikel ist wie beschrieben und relativ einfach zu montieren. Ich habe die Profile als indirekte Beleuchtung hinter einem Fachwerk-Holzbalken über der eine Herdzeile installiert und soll den HUE LED Strip vor Dämpfen schützen. Vorher löste sich der LED Strip permanent 😬 - nun kehrte Ruhe ein 🤓
