Kiwi 100% Horsehair Shine Brush

This is a nice brush with natural bristles that are soft. Work well on my Bible.

I have never shined a shoe in my life but found myself needing to after I started reselling items. I picked up this horsehair brush not only because it was a good price but also because of the Kiwi name. I knew Kiwi made good quality shoe shining products and so I was confident I would get an item that was worth the investment, and I have. Being left handed I find it difficult to find items that work for me. The Kiwi Horehair Shine brush, while slightly curved, it does allow you to hold it with either hand making it user friendly for both left and right handed people. It is lightweight allowing even those of us with hand pain to use the brush. I did find the brush to be a little wide for my smaller hand, which does cause some discomfort and lack of grip on the brush. But overall, this brush does an excellent job shining shoes and allows even a novice like me to make shoes look new again.

Is a very nicely done shoe brush. It is a little too small for my hand, but it is usable and will do for the few shoes I have to do these days.

The item was delivered faster than expected and just as described. It did the job it was intended to do and as a result, I’m a satisfied customer. Although I was initially reluctant to order this product after reading all the negative reviews regarding faulty bristles, excessive shedding, and it being too small in size, but after testing the product myself, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how well it polished my shoes. And to that effect, not a single bristle broke off during use nor was there any shedding present. Not to mention, I thought the size was just fine as it wasn't too big to handle and was small enough for me to have a firm grasp while using so I'm not sure what other reviewers are referring to since I thought the size was normal. With the exception of a few loose hairs that were sticking out of brush when I first opened the package, this item well exceeded my expectations and I’d definitely recommend it to others as well as continue to purchase it in the future myself.

I like that the brush has withstood the test of time and has served me well. I use it occasionally to polish my shoes when they get a little faded, and the shine comes back.

What else can one say about a shoe brush... It works as expected and the feeling is quite nice. Simply put, a quality product that fells like it's going to last a long time.

The horsehair isn’t too ruff nor too soft. I used it on my nappa leather boots and they turned out great. It’s a really good affordable option! A++

Unfortunately, these brushes are far too small for my purposes - maintaining my leather safety boots and shoes. Not only is the handle quite small (even for my average to small woman's hands) but the bristles (the horse hairs that make up the brush portion of the product) are very short as well. These characteristics render the brush unusable for me - even for cleaning my leather footwear. I cannot speak to the quality of the product other than to say a few hairs had come loose or had "shed" when I examined ea. of the brushes. I do not know whether this is normal. At this juncture, I know too little about horse hair brushes to make that judgement. Amazon's return process is very simple. In just a few minutes I had my (free) UPS Ground shipping label and the return authorization bar code printed. I'll drop the brushes off @ a UPS location (in the package they arrived in) and move forward in my search for the brushes I need. It’s a soft polishing brush works really well

The bristles started falling out as soon as I started using it. My 20 year old Dasco brush doesn’t do that. It also runs a little small. Spend a bit more money to find yourself a decent brush elsewhere.

Quality wooden handle, though the first few uses might cause some hair to drop off.

Great quality brush. Soft bristles and compact size. Great value for money

When used gently and with a selvyt cloth great results.
