MAX Hair Trimmer, Green

Being that I got this baby (two times over, as my teenage daughter took the first one & I can’t really blame her), so for another $10 we both had one, it worked out for $20 altogether. The prices on Amazon go up and down a lot, but I feel that even at the current rate of $17 and change, this particular trimmer is worthy of this increased cost factor. I mean, yeah.. we all try and save money whenever we can, I just like the product THAT much, that it’s not out of the question for me to pay that price for the item. I hope that makes good sense. I base my reviews on the quality for cost factor as #1. This hits that outta the park, and I’ve tried many, many trimmers. Me, my hubby & 18 yo daughter, use these almost daily. This one reaches every place on my face that I want trimmed & features a sharper feeling cut (without cutting the actual skin, of course), that is lower and smoother than any trimmer I’ve tried, even ones outside of this price point. A great brand, great quality, a worthy buy!! No more knock off, non USA based trimmers for me, that can cost even more sometimes. I love my Microtouch trimmer 👍❤️. Excellent in every way - i've tried many other configurations and this is the only one that works well with nose, ears, over ear tops and other areas. I bought two and did had a problem with something jamming one of them after 6 mo but after a few attempts at cleaning and oiling it came back to life.

I use this item about once a month, and liked it, but when it came time trim again this week, it won't work. I replaced the battery, it still doesn't work. I have only used it three or four times. I cannot recommend it as it may not last. I am well past the expiration for returns, and it is a non-returnable item anyway. Quite frustrating. I was able to contact the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement with out any fuss or difficulty. So I am changing my rating to a 4. Back in business. I hope this one lasts longer.

Works well

I bought my husband this same little trimmer almost 20 years ago...he likes it, swears that it's a great little tool and light weight and has a light in it too. This new one works great because after having his old one for all these years, it's on its last leg and I didn't want him to not have one. The price difference wasn't much of a difference over the last 20 years and since he uses it all the time and he likes it, why not get him a new one to put in his Fathers day gift box. It comes with a battery too. Quick Shipping and in its own little package.

This is a newer version of the Micro Touch hair trimmer that I used to own. The old one work well when it worked, but it used a AAA battery and had an poorly design battery compartment that allowed the battery to move around. It also had a ring that would turn on the light and trimmer above the battery compartment and it was hard to turn. This new one uses an AA battery, solid battery compartment and a simple on/off battery. It works 100% better than the original one and well worth the price.

At that age where the Wild Hairs grow. This is grim and distasteful reviewing. I use my electric shaver for the hairs exposed at my external nares, but that can't reach those way up in there. And the occasional ear hairs are almost impossible with a rotary shaver head. So for $10 this was worth a try. I've used it three times so far, but I don't intend to use the attachments. • The idea of inserting a carving knife into my nose is daunting. They are kidding you if they say you can't feel it, or that it's comfortable. This thing has sharp, pointy edges that are going back and forth, and you have to be careful. See photo. • And then you have to rotate it around in there. • It does not cut the hair even to the skin, like a straight razor would (or a decent electric). There is some hair projecting. Up inside a nose it's not a big deal, but if it's visible, it's visible. • The little light actually does help sometimes. • The longevity of the battery isn't a big deal -- I mean, it's not for daily use (unless you have some really weird hair growth) -- but a rechargeable style might be something to look at. • The instructions say you shouldn't get the cutter wet (runny nose, anyone?), so cleaning is iffy. • It failed to start for me on second use. I banged the head and it started. Uh oh. • The tiny plastic cover does not stay on very well. When this one fails -- I hope not for a long time -- I'll try a different style of cutter.

This trimmer does a good job of getting close to the skin, better than other products. The light is useless when trimming nose hairs. Two things that would improve this product: would be to make it waterproof to use in the shower and to either eliminate the light or add an on/off switch to turn the light off. It is understandable this would increase cost. Overall this trimmer is a good value at a low price point. We will see how long it lasts for overall ROI>

This works like a dream, for all us men who find excessive hairs bristling out of their nostrils as we age, a must. I've bought at least 3 of this sort of trimmer from other stores over the last few years. Without fail, they all stop working. And are more pricey than this unit. The last one I had was a big name brand, and was terrible. This is a dream.

This product helps in my personal hygiene and help build my confidence at the same time.
