Perfect!
I love this projector. Itโs so clear and the sound works great as well.

Pleasantly surprised. Super cool.
For starters the project arrived packaged very well. I know it's not that important to how the product performs, but when a company puts money into their packaging I think it shows the value of their product. The projector has a great picture. I even projected onto the side of my house (well over the screen size it's rated for) and the picture was still clear enough to pick up all the details. It does have to be dark out however. Inside it projects clearly and bright enough in dim to medium light. The sound is not very loud but it connects to a Bluetooth speaker and works well. It was a bit tricky to figure out the screen sharing, but not overwhelmingly difficult. The screen automatically squares itself when tilted up or down which is a cool feature. It does not square itself when its projecting on a horizontal angle, but that hasn't been a problem for me. The battery also seemed to last a bit over the rated time, not by a lot but it's nice to know the company wasn't over rating their product. If you're looking for a portable projector that won't disappoint this is the one.

A great little projector, ruined by the power cord and lack of power save function (SEE EDITS).
I bought this projector to take to music festivals and raves to quickly project animated gifs on the ground (like a flashlight, but with animations) but it seems it is not really useable for that. This is a great little projector and is surprisingly capable for its size, but has 2 problems: The power cord is a DC barrel connector and requires a wall outlet to charge, which makes it useless at raves. The power input is 5V 3A, why they didnโt just use a USB C connector so it can be used with any standard power bank is just mind-boggling. There is no way to turn off just the lamp off to save power. You need to power down the whole unit, and booting back up takes about 90 seconds. It has a lens cover you can close to block the projection, but it does not shut the lamp off. This results in a lot of unneeded power drain and wastes lamp life. This makes this unit impractical for what I was trying to do with it. Without the ability to shut the lamp off, it will only last about an hour and a half and once itโs dead if you donโt have a wall outlet, you will not be charging it back up. It provides ADB root shell out of the box and I have tried several different ways to turn the lamp off, but so far ฬถnฬถoฬถnฬถeฬถ ฬถwฬถeฬถrฬถeฬถ ฬถsฬถuฬถcฬถcฬถeฬถsฬถsฬถfฬถuฬถlฬถ (SEE EDIT BELOW). There also does not appear to be any firmware publicly available, so if you brick it messing around with root, you will be unable to restore it. EDIT: I have purchased a 5V DC barrel to USB, which I didn't even know was possible. Now I can plug the projector into my power bank and car to charge. While still inconvenient to have to carry this special wire around with it, it does significantly help with the "portability" factor, therefore I have changed my review to 4 stars. I purchased this universal cable here and it works great. EDIT 2 (11-19-23): I finally DID find a way to turn off power to the lamp. From an ADB shell, run the following command: "./system/bin/tusmv53_cmd 11 0 0 0" The lamp should turn off. Run it again and it will turn back on, but the image will be inverted. Run the command "./system/bin/tusmv53_cmd 4 0 0 0" afterwards to correct this. I created a script that runs at boot to override the POWER button press event and instead run this set of commands. Now, pressing the power button will toggle ONLY the lamp on and off, but the projector stays powered up. It also significantly reduces the power draw when not projecting, which should extend battery life. Now that I can quickly power the projection on and off like a flashlight, I would give this unit 5 stars. However, since it is not a native function and requires rooting and modifying boot files (which will easily brick the device if you mess up), I am leaving my review at 4. EDIT 3 (7-8-24): This unit has been a big hit at the raves and the dancing Mr. Krabs never fails to constantly draw a crowd, but after 15 months the battery has swelled up and can no longer hold a charge. It also bent the logic board and the power button no longer turns on the device. I don't blame the unit for this, I'm using this in pretty harsh conditions and accidently left it in my car baking in the sun a few times... My bad. I will have to look into obtaining a replacement battery to install :( EDIT 3 (11-19-24): Could not find a replacement battery that would fit but got another one of these units on a 40% sale. Was a big hit at this years EDC Orlando rave! I was also able to contact the company that makes the built-in EShare app and they were kind enough to add animated .gif file playback instead of having to convert them to 5 minute long .mp4s first, which makes adding animations much easier. Luckly the system apps are signed with the default Rockchip Android platform key, so overwriting the built-in app was simple. Hurray for horrible security practices I guess lol.

Small, bright and versatileโฆ
This is a follow up to my original one star. After some time, the company contacted me and offered to replace the device and two days later, I have a new one! I will be sure not to leave it plugged in when not in use. I use it for art projects mostly and it is the perfect projection device for canvases of all sizes! Even as small as 3x5โ. I had not been able to find another one like it. I am delighted! Original review: This was a great projector, small, bright and versatile. However, one day the battery inside expanded, split the case open and made it unusable. Too much money for such a short lived (and dangerous?) device. If you have one, make sure you donโt leave it plugged in unattended.

BUY THIS AMAZING PROJECTOR!
I have been a professional artist since 1981. (That's a long time). I have used a wide variety of different styles and brands of projectors over the years including Artograph. I am a Journeyman sign artist, formerly specializing in highway billboards 14'x48'. I normally paint large canvas. Lately I have been entering wildlife art contests where the format size is 7" x 10". Using any of these other projectors is extremely frustrating to attempt to get the clarity/focus down to that size. Projectors are made to enlarge. THIS IS AMAZING. Pros: I love the option of HDMI or USB. The picture couldn't be clearer. Highly portable. Comes with a mini tripod! BONUS!!! The unboxing was a lot of fun. If you work on a small scale BUY THIS PROJECTOR!! Cons: That remote needs a lot of tweaking. Make the focus digital by remote. This is a very well designed, well thought out projector from the packaging right down to the nuts and bolts of it. Absolutely worth every penny. I am so happy today.

Good Quality and resolution!!! It is very easy to manage and my daughter loves it!
I am VERY impressed with this mini projector! This was a birthday gift for my 12yr old daughter and she uses it to watch movies in her room all the time! Installing it was a bit confusing but we figured it out. The actual installed apps on the projector (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc,.) work very well but we have not been able to download Disney+ to the projector and we can't project it through the Casting app either. The resolution is great, even when there is some lighting. We stretched the image to about 15' diagonal and it was awesome!!! The image did not get distorted. We have been able to connect JBL speakers (through Aux and Bluetooth) for better sound and also connect to the laptop (to play movies we currently have on DVD or Blu-ray). We have to use the laptop because the projector does not pick up the sound from the DVR, which is weird because it does from the laptop with no problem. I looked into it and this seems to be an issue with DVRs and mini projectors. I checked settings but just couldn't get it to work. I am going to try it on my surround system next to see if it works. Maybe its the settings on that specific DVR. Not sure.. My daughter also uses to project images and then paint over them. For example, my son wanted a Lakers Logo in his room. She did that for him. I needed to cut giant letters for a sign, she projected them, traced them and I just cut them. This was very helpful. She really uses it alot. I do recommend it for whoever is planning on getting one ๐. The remote control works well but its a little slow. Its easier and faster to move the settings manually.

โ So much potentialโฆ completely ruined by the interface
1 out of 5 stars โ So much potentialโฆ completely ruined by the interface Letโs start with the good: Manual keystone โ one of the best Iโve ever used. Super precise and easy to adjust. Auto keystone, on the other handโฆ itโs hit or miss (more like 50/50). It only works properly at certain distances, so youโre constantly searching for that sweet spot. Projection quality โ decent for the size, and it looks good in a dark room, which is about what youโd expect at this price point. Now for the bad โ and itโs a long list. The interface is painfully slow. If youโre buying this for its โsmartโ features, donโt. The processor inside can barely keep up, and it doesnโt support key apps like Spectrum TV. After spending 20 minutes downloading and another 20 signing in, the app crashed with a nasty error message. The system froze multiple times, and navigating with the remote is awful. The buttons feel cheap, and using the touch controls on the projector itself is useless since it moves the device around while itโs on a tripod. Speaking of the tripod โ itโs terrible. If itโs not set up in one very specific way, the entire thing tips over. For $300, you should expect better. I even tried to make it work by plugging in a Roku stick to bypass the clunky interface โ but once you do that, manual keystone stops working, forcing you to rely on the auto keystone (which, again, isnโt good). And to top it all off, it doesnโt even have USB-C charging. You canโt use a portable charger โ it only charges with the factory adapter. The built-in battery lasts about 1.5 hours, which makes it useless for travel or portable entertainment unless youโre near a wall outlet. After all that tinkering and frustration, I finally gave up, packed it up, and sent it back. The only positive thing I can say is the compact size โ but if youโre going to have it plugged in anyway, youโre better off buying a more capable projector. If you just need something for office presentations while traveling, sure โ itโll do the job. But for entertainment? Run away and donโt look back.

Honesty review
This projector is decent depending on the intended use. - things to consider. The projector dosen't work with all wifi routers. The Bluetooth works but not when using the HDMI port. The android operating system is outdated causing conflicts with streaming apps. The navigation on Netflix hasn't worked properly which eliminated the option of downloading for offline play because you can't scroll through the screen. The picture quality and brightness is less than needed to play video games but adequate for movies and tv shows. Doesnt work well in brightener rooms. internal battery has only got approximately an hour of active use. โ things to consider. It is very portable, the size and weight is great for traveling. Could be useful for sharing work products. I like the idea of using it for art work or wood working but I haven't used it for that type of application. Overall this projector meets the standards for being used temporarily but I intend to purchase one that is more suited for theater and gaming uses. If you are looking for a more permanent projector I would look for a different one. I hope this helps anyone interested in the product.
