High quality and durable
Great set of gloves! Fantastic quality, comfortable ams durable. I didn't think I could get such high quality for an affordable cost. I am a beginner to boxing and these are far better than I expected. We will have these for a long time and get a ton of use out of them. Highly recommend!

Very nice MMA gloves
Picked these up for my MMA classes and they didn't disappoint. Nice leather, you can smell quality leather. Padding was very nice and the velcro closure was easy to operate with the gloves on. They were pretty tight with wraps, I couldn't even pull on the 2nd glove, but after a bit they loosed up and felt really comfortable. I'd only complain that they are expensive, I've had other gloves and they felt as nice as 1/3 the price, so I'm hoping the extra money I paid was for durability. I also wish they had some kind of removable cord between then to make them easier to carry. Lastly they look awesome, stealth black on black.

Very Well Made, Beautiful Finish, Perfect Stitching and Good Fit
I was wanting a pair of 16 oz boxing gloves for boxing-inspired cardio workouts and hitting the heavy bag in my gym. Like many Amazon shoppers, I am tired of cheap and disposable Chinese-made junk products. I wanted gloves that would last me for a few years. These gloves caught my eye, and the price seemed like a sign that they are not junk, but was within the range I was willing to spend as a novice user. Boy, not junk is an understatement! I got the Iron Oxblood color, and they are gorgeous. The workmanship and finish is way beyond what I expected at this price, and the 16 oz models fit my medium-sized hands perfectly. I can tell they will last me a long time, and they have made my workouts a blast. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to Anthem Athletics for inspiring my first-ever Amazon review.

Really Nice Gloves
A really nice pair of gloves for the price. They took some breaking in, but fit comfortably and have great padding/wrist support. I use them mostly for heavy bag work and so far they've held up great. In the past I've gone for cheaper options, and I'm by no means a professional or highly experienced fighter, but there's a clear gulf in quality between cheaper options and these gloves. I've only had them a short time, but they gloves seem built to last and provide great comfort and protection.

Well made, comfortable gloves
I really like the feel of these gloves. They are super comfortable, are vented sufficiently and don't fatigue my hands. I wear size 7.5-8 gloves, so I like the 16 oz size. I use these 3-4 days a week for heavy bag work and have been using the gloves for 1 month. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is the same concern others had: the material lining inside the glove seems a little thin and I am concerned that the velcro from my hand weaps may wear it through. To be fair, this hasn't happened yet and I love everything else. I did not have trouble with the stitching and these seem very well constructed.

Great pair of real leather gloves that doesn't break the bank
I purchased these to replace my Everlast imitation leather entry level gloves that were in bad shape. I only use my gloves to train with my "Bob the Bastard" training dummy. I would say my intensity level is usually one step above cardio boxing as I'm mainly doing it for the fat burn & upper body conditioning. I typically sparr for 30 or 36 minutes (10 or 12 rounds equivalent) but with no breaks. These Anthem Athletics Stormbringer 2 gloves are pretty sweet. I had wanted blue but it wasn't in stock so I chose 24k gold in the 16oz size & glad I did as they look pretty awesome. Out of the box they were pretty tight on my 8.5-ish hand circumstance..the left glove fit much snugger on me than the right one for some reason. The first session with them was a bit uncomfortable as the left glove was so tight it was putting my hand to sleep. The padding was also a lot firmer than my old cheap gloves, so my knuckles felt it more than I was used to. I have always used wraps but in these gloves I knew I was going to need something more. I had some Everlast gel fingerless gloves that I hadn't really needed to use previously, so I attempted to get my hands in the new gloves while wearing the gels & it wasn't happening due to the tightness of them. So I improvised a bit & cut the gel gloves down to where it was just the knuckle padding & finger holes left & that did the trick. They fit through there with a bit of effort & once all the way inserted there is enough room for them in there & my knuckles are much happier. The left glove was still to tight though around the base of my thumb area & uncomfortable. So I used a Yoga mat rolled up tightly & shoved in the wrist area of the glove & left it overnight to stretch it out & it helped a lot. It don't hurt anymore & doesn't put my hand to sleep. I can't speak on durability at this point as they've only had 2:06:00 of punching thus far. But I'm sure the leather will last much much longer than the fake & peeling pleather of my old Everlast's. So in summary, I think they are a bargain for what you are getting. But depending on how soft the padding was in your old gloves..you may want to wear some kind of gel wrap or glove in these if you're punching with any force. But space could be an issue as stated..so unless you have less than average sized hands I wouldn't get anything other than the 16oz variety. "Happy punching"

solid gloves
I was looking for a pair of 16oz gloves that didn't break the bank but also wouldn't fall apart after a few months, and these really fit the bill. I don't do much bag work, so I can't comment there, but they're comfortable gloves and my hands feel protected, which was the main reason I was looking in the 16oz range. And if it matters, I'm a woman, though my hands are not small. (Just short of being able to palm a basketball.) As with a lot of higher weight gloves, it might be challenging to find a pair that don't slip if you have smaller hands so ymmv with these gloves if that's the case. I will say, the red is much brighter in person than in the product photos which was a little disappointing for me personally, but obviously doesn't affect the quality.
