Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra Upgraded Bright White Headlight Bulb, 2 Pack

I am rarely impressed by a product but in this case I am compelled to review it. I put these into my 2015 Buick Encore which from the factory comes with projectors but a bulb that to my eye measures at under 3000K and is very yellow. This is how all these Encores are and the light output on the road especially when its blacktop is just horrible. You can see the car coming down the road and identify it as an Encore because the lights are so much yellower than almost any other car on the road. I have been going back and forth on which Halogen upgrade lights to get or whether I should just go to the LED conversions but for the $23 I figured these were at least worth a shot. And they 100% were! I am fully impressed with the difference. While its hard to say if there is "more" light coverage on the road, what is easy to say is that the brightness provided by the simple color temperature change is something to see. These are rated at about 3600-3700K and are very much a bright white light. I tried to capture it in the pictures and you can see the difference, but in person the difference is even more pronounced. The left headlight is the Crystal Vision and the right one is the OEM. If these lights went up by 600-800 degrees K in color then they are worth every penny over the OEM lights specific to a Buick Encore or similar vehicles. My advice would be, that if your lights are visibly yellow, pull the trigger on these Crystal Visions, you won't be disappointed. Also, they are in no way blue. Pure white.

I’ve purchased these bulbs for my Legacy projector H11 low beams several times. These bulbs are excellent. Unlike LEDs, these are safe, legal, and very bright in a projector(low beam) lens setup. I usually get about a year for a pair. - totally worth it. Much whiter and brighter than stock, but not “in your face ridiculous” like a lot of the illegal LED bulbs people are using these days. These strike a great balance. I’ve considered going all LED but decided to stay with these - LEDs look nice, but have much shorter illuminating distance than these. So after some trial and error I found the perfect combination - these H11s in my low beams, and a pair of Philips LED in my fog lights (6000k) - this combination works PERFECT - the h11s give you the distance and the LED fogs fill out everything close and around the front of the car - perfect combination and I totally recommend it. The key is to make sure you use the same or very close color temperature on all the lighting to get a nice even illumination that is consistent - very important.

I received my Crystal Vision bulbs yesterday and was super excited to install them on my 06 GTO. The stock bulbs were yellow and dim, especially for projectors. I had purchased a cheap pair of 5000K H9's and modified the socket to fit the H11 plug. I was looking for a bright white light with no blue in it to match my LED fog light bulbs. Color was spot on with the H9's but light output was lacking and one burned out in a month. It was just an experiment and finding the right H9's proved to be difficult and relatively expensive. Bought the Philips bulbs expecting that bright white light with no yellow and installed them during the day. Sadly the light had a very faint yellowish tint in the daylight and initially I was disappointed because the color didn't match the fogs. However got a chance to drive the car tonight in the dark and color (see what I did there lol) me impressed and no longer disappointed. These bulbs are amazing in the dark and at a great price to boot. The color still has a tiny bit of yellow and still don't match the fogs exactly but it's close enough for my OCD not to kick in because of the usable light they produce. They blow away the OEM's and provide a ton more illumination than the H9's. My car is Australian built so it runs the lights anytime the car is on but at lower wattage during the day in daytime running light mode so we'll see how long these last. For the price though I'm already satisfied for what I paid, would have left 5 stars if the yellow color wasn't present.

These car lights are super bright and made a big difference when driving at night. Installation was easy and they fit perfectly. The visibility on the road is much better now.

Obviously check with the dealer or manufacturer to make sure these bulbs fit your car BEFORE opening the packaging and installing them. WEAR CLEAN GLOVES!!!In terms of comparisons, this is a standard size light bulb. It is brighter than the OEMs. It is not as bright as HIDs or LEDs, but that costs more money and more effort, not to mention you may have a convertor box flopping around in the front of your engine when you drive. In a standard Toyota, for headlights, its fairly easy to reach the existing bulb and make a quarter turn and pull out, to remove the bulb. Do be careful, as the power cable would still be attached at this point. This fit several years of Camrys, Corollas, and Priuses, that I helped my friends change out. It's not that hard, but they wouldn't touch it.I've found that removing the dead bulb first and then removing the cable is easier, but it depends on the car, and there are plenty of youtube videos to follow. These bulbs burn brighter than OEMs, so the lifetime is not quite as long as what came with a car but the difference is noticeable between the standard orange/yellowish light versus this bright white light (not blue from what I can see).

These are well-made bulbs, in a well-fitting H11 module, from Philips - a reputable manufacturer. Disappointed that the color was yellowish and not the "Bright White" as indicated in the product info above, and in both the bulb packaging photos and description. The bulbs are actually manufactured with a light-blue bulb glass tint but is has no apparent effect. The packaging clearly implies a bluish color too. Please see industry light color descriptions below, and reference legend/color bar in photo.In the attached photo, as viewed on your screen, the left fog light (USA passenger side) is the Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra Upgrade "bright white" bulb, the right fog light (USA driver side) is the OEM conventional halogen bulb. You can see that there is very little color difference between the two, but the CrystalVision bulb does present a slightly cleaner, possible brighter, well-defined beam pattern.We purchased these in an attempt to get a better color match (bright/cool bluish light) between our pure white HID headlamps, and the yellowish OEM conventional halogen fog light bulbs. Unfortunately the appearance of the Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra Upgrade is strikingly similar to the yellowish conventional halogen bulb.We're leaving the CrystalVision bulbs installed, but for the price and installation effort, frankly we're disappointed with the yellowish color which was the whole point of this purchase. "Bright White" is supposed to range between the white and blue colors, specifically - 4000k-5000k it is not supposed to be yellowish. These CrystalVision bulbs were clearly yellowish in appearance both in photo and to the eye, they were not even slightly white/bluish per industry standards.Here is some technical info on light bulb types/light colors (degrees Kelvin) - please also see light color bar/legend in the review photo.Light color or light appearance is measured on the Kelvin (K) temperature scale. Lower Kelvin numbers means more yellow the light; the higher the Kelvin number, the whiter or bluer the light.1. Soft White (yellowish range) - 2700K-3000K. This is the standard color of incandescent bulbs.2. Warm White (between the yellowish and white ranges) - 3000K-4000K.3. Bright White (between the white and blue ranges) - 4000k-5000k.4. Daylight (blue range) - 5000K-6500K.

Outstanding set of bulbs lasted over 7.4 years with just one burning out today.No complaints, car has Daytime running lights that are on all the time.

Contrary to what the Amazon garage says, the H11 bulbs are correct for a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. The hybrid models for this model year series have a different headlamp assembly than the regular Sonata's and the low beams are H11 unlike the standard H7 bulbs. In case you're wondering, if you have a Sonata Hybrid, H11 = Low Beam, H7 = High Beam.As for the bulbs and their performance, this is the second set of these bulbs I buy. My first set I used to swap the bulbs on my Ford Fusion. I would say that these bulbs are definitely an improvement over stock bulbs. It might just be me but I feel these bulbs change in color output based on the distance the light is hitting. What I mean by this is that for me, when I shine the light from the bulbs on a nearby object, like a wall or a car right in front of me, the light appears warmer but the further away the light beam hits, like driving on an open road or freeway with less traffic, the light appears far whiter (this is just IMO).I wish these would always appear on the cooler side of the color spectrum as advertised so I docked 1 star but overall, the bulbs do their job really well and they give you great output and clarity when driving at night.

Good quality, bright as describe in specification, semi-white in color.

These bulbs are very white and seems a lot brighter than the OEM ones that came on the SIenna. So far after more than a year the bulbs are lasting just fine.Update July 2021: Installed in Mar 2019 and the driver's side burnt out in July 2021 so almost 2.5 yrs of use which was more than I expected - not bad for a higher output bulb.

I bought these and had an electrician to put them on my accord 2015 low beam hoping to improve road visibility,They turned to be worse and low dim as if I have no light.II went to another electrician last night after i wrote my initial review on amazon. He told me the bulbs were not installed properly. He fixed the installation and the visibility is much better, excellent

Phillips es líder en iluminación, los focos sin fabricados en Alemania, definitivamente si se nota la diferencia entre el normal y el cristal visión, la ventaja de estos es que son de halogeno, y tienen mejor amplitud de luz que los xenón, y al instante es el brillo no tienes que esperar a que lleguen al máximo a la hora de encender, para algunas personas es alto el precio pero la calidad es inmejorable, en mi caso el paquete traía unos pequeños focos incluídos, como les decimos en México de pellizco. Ya l vez en la foto no se aprecia muy bien por el sol pero definitivamente si es blanca la luz a diferencia del normal. Los recomiendo.
