These work perfectly.Purchased for my plex server for some cable management as I have sata cables everwhere, having 8 hard drives I purchased 2 of these connectors.You can remove the mesh that is wrapped around the cables as I needed single sata cables, as my drives are in several different locations and not a bunch tied together.Drives work at their expected speeds and there is no difference between these and standard sata cables.Would recommend these cables

They work! Great value for money - you can get them cheaper on ali express but I needed them quickly. Super easy to install, functions as expected. Cables are very flimsy but that just makes it easy to fit. Connection speed is as expected

Cables failed after 3 months started getting drive failures and then boot drive wouldn’t start. Initially assumed I had faulty drives but it turned out to be this cable. I have missed the Amazon return window so can’t return for a refund but TBH it’s more the frustration of troubleshooting and thinking something more serious was to blame. Would not recommend you buy these…it’s the old adage if it seems to good to be true then it probably is…I had reservations about these due to the size of the cables and price..ho hum!

I have been looking for something like this for years. My Avago HBA comes with this sort of cable as standard, but I have never been able to find them for normal PC SATA use.They are good because they are so much thinner and more flexible than standard SATA cables.Therefore you can route them more easily. They also allow better airflow in the case. The performance is just as good as normal SATA cables. They are also nice and long so can be used in large tower server cases.However, it is manufactured in China. I would prefer to buy from a European company as I think China's human rights record in the mainland, South China Sea and Hong Kong is illegal.

I have tested this cable Extensively, and found it will transfer data faster and more reliable, I have see this sort of cable before and found they have been too costly, so never used before, but from now on I will buy them as I can transfer date from on hard drive to 2 other drives at the same time and get well over 180MB/s from one hard drive to one other peak speed of 250MB/s other cable would never get any better then 80MB/sso I would highly recommend them!!
