Allegro Coffee Organic Espresso Sierra Ground Coffee, 12 oz

It is a true smooth dark roast coffee without the burnt bitterness some dark roasts have. Not over acidic but has a bold taste of a dark roast coffee. It smells fresh and dark.

I especially appreciate a dark roast coffee. This one is extra dark and perfect for me. I only drink dark and am really happy when I can find extra dark or over roasted beans. I like a rich, smoky flavor which gets a chef's kiss with my creamer. I keep coming back to this one! Highly recommended.

I have been using the lavassa bricks of espresso for the last handful of years that I've had my delonghi espresso machine and decided I should switch to organic. This stuff is SO good!! I absolutely love the flavor, way better than the last brand! Works wonderfully in my machine, and it is far less expensive than some of the other brands I considered. I'm very happy with this product!

This was a recommendation from YouTuber Shea Whitney. I thought it was delicious. Smooth and not acidic. Will buy again.

The quality of the Extra Dark French Roast has gone down since last year when I had to start ordering it from Amazon. And it’s more expensive. Whole Foods used to sell a pound—16 oz—of it for $9.99. Now Amazon sells 12 oz for the same price. WF used to sell the beans in the store and you could grind it yourself. Then they stopped selling the beans and only sold the ground version. Now they’ve almost stopped selling Allegro altogether and the Extra Dark French Roast was the most popular so I could only get it from Amazon. I subscribed for it monthly which worked for a while. Then Amazon sent the wrong flavor, twice. Now I order it month by month and even though it’s the right flavor, I have to use almost twice as much coffee in my French press to get the flavor I used to and sometimes it still has little flavor.

This coffee has completely ruined me for all others! The rich, smooth flavor with dark chocolate and caramel notes is absolutely perfect. It’s bold but not bitter, with a deep, satisfying taste that keeps me coming back for more. The quality is top-notch, and I love that it’s organic. I can’t imagine starting my day with anything else now—highly recommend to any coffee lover!

This is a wonderful organic option for espresso. Sometimes I don’t want to grind beans and this was a good option. Strong, bold flavor and best of all organic! Thanks Allegro!!!
