1/48 A6M5C Type 52 Zero Fighter TAM61027 Plastic Models Airplane 1/48

I've been building model airplanes since the days of Revell, Monogram, Hawk, and Aurora. No model brand I've ever built comes close to the quality of the contemporary Tamiya models. Fit of parts, detail, ease of assembly, choice of excellent decals and color schemes - all come together to provide an beautiful model and a superb modeling experience. I haven't built my Zero yet, but initial inspection of the kit provides anticipation of a really nice build! (The photo shows recent 1/48 Tamiya builds.)

So good I've accidentally bought three of them over the years. 😂 I guess I can do a variety of color schemes, right? Typical Tamiya. Great, crisp molding and minimal (if any) gaps

Tamiya has great quality products

This Tamiya model was bought for my son in law. He says, extremely detailed and realistic. Finished model looks fantastic.

I give 4 out of 5 stars to this kit. The body fit well, no putty is needed. Consider its age, I think the original die is more than 30 years old, the overall quality is remarkable. Two cons: the texture of plastic is fragile--it's an old style dark green plastic, widely adopted in 70s and 80s. And the details for cockpit and engine almost missed.

Nice addition to my collection

The landing gear was absolutely a nightmare to try to function as it should ! I even reinforced the strut with another piece of plastic and it still looks like crap !

零戦52型と書いてあるけど零戦52丙型だった 機銃の銃身はとても折れやすい(自分は折れた) 自分が気に入った所は主翼から突き出ている20mm・13mm機銃がかっこいいと思った
