The installation wasn't too difficult. The steering is amazing. I also installed a Raymarine auto pilot. The two units work perfectly together. Review: Very Satisfied - The kit contained everything I needed to install the system. The hardest part was removing the old steering cable system. I literally had to cut it out to avoid unbolting the motor mount. There are numerous YouTube videos showing this. (A large bolt cutter would have been very handy, but I managed without one). All the components are very well made and everything fit together perfectly. This thing is *solid* and looks like it will last a long time. One piece of constructive criticism for UFlex: the "kit" comes with instructions for each individual component but not the system in it's entirety. You Just need a tie rod to connect the two. **Q: What type of warranty come with this item?** A: Two Year Limited Warranty. Search Uflex HYTEC warranty for finding the limitations. **Q: Do it come with the fitting for the hoses** A: Yes. **Q: Will this work with longer hoses? If so where do I get them** A: It should work fine with longer hoses. Not sure about a source of supply though.
