Review: Great filter! - I've had this filter for a couple years now and it works like a charm! I don't use the suggested filter and media for it, I made it my own by putting a filter foam on the inside, followed by filter media and I put a carbon pouch on top and it cleans my water so well! Even when you use this filter with the media it comes with it works super well. I have it in my frog tank and it does an amazing job of really sifting out all the gunk. It's a perfect size for a small tank or even a larger one with less water. The only problem I have is a suction cups broke and I had to like ductape the hole off and I only have a single suction cup left but I'm working on fixing it lol. It's lasted me this long I ain't giving it up!! I reccomend this to anyone, you really can't beat it for the price.

My old filter, which sat on the outside of the tank had a tube to bring the water up out of the tank and into the filter. The tube got clogged all the time with debris and the filter would stop running. This submersible filter sits right in the tank, so no tubes to clog. It has good suction and puts out a good flow of water. The filter pump stopped working after several months. I contacted the seller and they are shipping me a new pump from China free of charge. Responsive seller, good customer service.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful and quite. As good as the name brand version.

This filter for the price has actually become one of my favorites over an expensive name brand most people use. It runs great. The pump attached to the bottom, pumps a high rate of water which is excellent for tanks with turtles and so forth. It is actally very quite. If it wasn't for the waterfall sound itself I wouldnt know it was running. The water flow is so smooth the African Side Neck turtle in the tank loves swimming under it. The pump is removable from the filter so you can clean the impelle if need be. This is a big plus with because sometimes debris can get into the pump around the impeller and cause it to lock up then burn out. The only flaw that I truly found with this was the hanging clip isn't strong enough and snaps off. However there are 2 large suction cups that hold up the filter with no problems. I just prefer the clip as a backup in case the suction cups let go. Pros: Quite, Powerful, easy to clean and maintain Cons: Haging clip is not functional for the weight of filter once water starts pumping through it. I would recommend this pump for a turtle tank if you don't want to buy a 60.00 or more name brand one.
