Yet another great product experience from Mee Audio
I’ve owned the M6 Sport, over 10 years ago. I bought some M6 Pros w years ago, lost them, got another pair this year, and then grabbed some MX2 Pros just last month. I assumed that they would be good IEMs, as has been my experience in the past. The MX2 Pros surpassed my expectations. They’re advertised to be tuned well for drummers and bassists, and I can attest that they definitely pack a punch in the low end. They are able to deliver deep bass response without sacrificing any quality or clarity in the highs. The M6 pros, while great, could sound a bit harsh in the upper end of the frequency range — these did not have that problem. I normally play my music with some sort of EQ to shape the sound to my liking. Admittedly, I do prefer a bit of a V shape. I haven’t had any desire to EQ these, however, because everything is represented really well out of the box. At the risk of sounding a tad obsequious, I dare say these are my favorite IEMs that I’ve used, and I’m comparing these to a pair of Westone 3 IEMs I bought for $300 a decade ago. These, however, have a detachable design and are more affordable. I may have to check out the MX4 Pros soon, because I like these so much.

Far superior to the shures
I bought these because I was so frustrated with the sound quality of my shure in ears. I was getting no bass response at all so I upgraded to these. The sound quality is far superior and the construction and comfort is just as good

Great for listening for bass frequency , rumble and thumpand that's about it for me
you hear further into bass frequencies. the bass frequencies become distinct that it is easier to pick up and listen and discern if you are trying to learn the bass parts of a song... that said, you cant use this for your daily listening. the emphasis on the bass give you that rumble and thump but you miss out on the mid and highs. i bought this specifically for my parish. i play the bass and thought this would work well for me. i prefer to hear all intruments equally and base by performance and volume in balance to what i hear. all other instruments are softer and i've missed some cues. have not used it in a rock or lively performance yet, maybe it will shine there.

Good bass reproduction, sub-par mids and elevated treble
First off, I think these ears deliver what was promised - a good bass reproduction. It's clean, clear and there is plenty of it, they will eat anything you serve in that department with aplomb. I also like how the over-ear wires are built - they are comfortable and have a good hold without messing with my ears. However what I found was that mid range is lacking in definition and detail, so I'm having an issue following lead vocals and guitars. To try and fix that, I have to raise the volume (not a good idea with monitors), and that elevates another issue (which may be my personal one) - treble is more pronounced than I'd like to hear, certainly more pronounced (and maybe even detailed) than the crucial middle. I tried it with multiple sound sources and different foam pads (including variable sizes of Comply tips), so seating should not have been an issue. You may however have entirely different frequency sensitivity, and again, if it's bass you're after, and you can tolerate an occasional slight brightness and less than crystal mids, you would hardly be disappointed in these. I ended up buying Shure SE215 and they were a better fit to my admittedly picky hearing.

Great Sound Quality
I make drum covers in my studio and I should have bought in ear monitors YEARS ago. Even without having custom fitted molds, the noise cancelling is top notch. Performance is amazing for the price, way better than any earbuds. The two driver system I bought is best suited for drummers and bassist. Cord length is long enough to attach to my line in for the audio interface. Overall Id say it's a great buy

Best value for a hundred bucks
Upgraded from a pair of M6 Pros I bought in 2016. These sounds great out of the box. Much less ‘harsh’ than the M6s with a very robust low end. I tend to play along with bass and guitar to recorded music or something I’m tracking. There’s enough power and definition that I’d put these against any entry level ($300-500) sound isolating IEMs. I use these with comply foam and they’re easy to leave in for an hour or so. I’d opt to get custom castings done if I were serious about wearing them for extended periods.

Needed some in-ear units, but wanted something that will last.
These IEMs are comfortable for long sessions which was my primary need. I'm not a major audiophile so I can't speak to the quality of the sound that a more trained ear may be able to provide, but I am happy with my choice to get the set with a separate driver for bass which provides a more full sound than standard earbuds. These units appear to be designed to last, with so much being modular you can upgrade easily if needed, or just replace what's broken. Be careful with the memory foam replacements as mine tore, but are still very much usable. Squish the memory foam tight and then insert the piece into your ear and let the foam expand to fit. Pushing it tighter into your ear to get a more secure fit is likely what caused mine to develop a tear. Overall, would certainly recommend if you want a lasting set of earbuds, or need a good quality IEM.

Muddy and terrible sound.
I have tried 5 different in ear headphones. MEE Professional MX2 PRO 2 $99 (Awful muddy sound, lacking hi end and bass). I had to return them. Complete garbage. 1MORE Quad Driver $110 (Terrible muddy sound, no definition). 1MORE Triple Driver In-Ear Earphones $53 (Muddy sound, lacking hi and mid end, bass is weak). ** V-MODA Zn In-Ear Modern Audiophile Headphones $158 (Good sound, hi end and bass is a little exaggerated, not consistent with original mix but still good). Controls work good, volume up and down, pause, skip forward, skip backward. These *** Shure AONIC 215 Wired Sound Isolating Earbuds sound fantastic and sound just like the original mix, no added bass, no added hi end just consistent true sound like the original mix. They seal out the outside sound like no other headphones. I use them on my Shuffle and IPhone. The controls work perfect for volume control and song pause, skip forward and skip rewind. $99 Worth every penny.
