Great reader once you figure out how to use. Registering it took over 20 minutes. Only one year of auto updates. It’s a bit difficult to use until you figure out where all of the items are that you want to see. I do like that they strapped the paper in really well, haha. But overall, it’s really good for seeing the exact problem instead of just a generic idea of where to look. We were able to see exactly why our ABS kept engaging in our Jeep. It showed which tire had the bad sensor. Our truck showed that it was specifically the coil pack instead of just a generic cylinder misfire. Would buy again despite the couple of annoying learning curve issues which might be more intuitive for some. But this is coming from someone who has experience with other readers and regularly fixes major mechanical issues, transmission rebuilds, and major vehicle modifications for off-road use.

Emailed the seller and asked a few questions. Got a response back extremely fast even though it was late at night. Then even told me once I get it if I had any issues not to hesitate to email them again. Overall I love it. I’ve had a more expensive model that unfortunately got stolen in a vehicle I had. This one does everything I need it to do and it’s super easy to use. Very user friendly and I love the blue tooth modulal on the back for the OBD port. If I had a friend that needed a scanner I’d recommend this in a heart beat

I had been eyeing up the Autel Scanners for a couple of years and finally had a reason to buy one with a check engine light that was intermittent. I was able to quickly figure out what the issue was. The Bluetooth VCM is a lifesaver, no cable to trip over or get tangled. Some have commented on the battery life, but for a DIY use the battery life was sufficient. There is a learning curve to this if you have not used these scanners before, but there are a lot of videos online to refer to for help. It does take some time to get the unit registered and updated once you receive the unit. Used to scan a friend’s vehicle with issues to help them figure out what was going a misfire they were experiencing. Next up is programming a spare key for our kid’s car that only has one key.

Easy to use and provides great solutions for the DIY guy! I like the BT model due to the fact that you don’t have to stay attached to the OBD and can take the computer to the area you are working. Great value for the money!

Works well. Gets the job done for the average DIYer with newer cars. Can read just about every bit of data I would ever need in my '16 Volvo, and then some. The Bluetooth VCM is a lifesaver; no cables to get hung up in your feet! Only reason 4 stars is because the software is a bit "clunky" and on the slower side, but it's not the end of the world and will not hinder anything that this thing can get done

I spoke to Autel I was informed I should only shop off of Autel.com not Autel Official who is the seller, after reading the glossary off Amazon. (1) The item cannot detect sunroof/ power windows on a HONDA CR-V 2007 only the power locks. What I was working on, the item cannot center the steering column as stated in glossary, the item after scanning the vehicle showed Three (3) error code TPMS permeant, but it cleared the codes (permeant code cannot be cleared) unless replaced. I was working on a Range Rover 2007 sport s/c, the tool did not detect the catalytic converter, read as (N/A) but read the O2 sensors impossible the O2 sensors are on the Cat. The post will not allow me to write anything further.

Im a lead lube tech and so far this is the best bang for you. I love that I pretty much the same feature and even more than some of the entry level snap on scanner. One of my feature is being able to print the report instead of writing the whole. And not to mention all the features you get. The most important to me were the throttle reset and e brake
