Great little canner
Have used as a pressure canner and water bath canner. Works great with my stove and stores smaller than my previous water bath canner. I would highly recommend as it is easy to use and comes with great instructions for small city garden canning.

Works well, cover hard to get off.
Followed all cleaning and lid oil instructions. The lid was extremely difficult to get off, it was STUCK. got it off 1 time, but had to turn it on its side and struggle with it for about 30 minutes before I finally was able to turn the cover to get it off. I then re-oiled the lid areas and the lid sealing ring, closed it back up a second time and again, the lid would barely turn to get it off. It does take some muscle to get the lid in but I finally got the hang of it while using potholders and both thumbs pushing in opposite turns. I’ve been able to can several jars in f food with no issue. I am actually happy with it now. Be warned, you must add the vinegar in the pot, with the water or the inside of your pot will turn black and it will be hard to see the 3quart water line mark which is VERY lightly edges on the inside where the handles are. I use a weighted rocker( not the official name) it helps so I don’t have to keep turning the fire up and down to keep it at the appropriate PSI Level. The pot holds plenty of jars at a time, just read the manual for specifics and don’t can less than 3 jars at a time. Good quality. Good seal. Parts turn black easily though. But works well.

Hi
Nice canner serves the purpose. Affordable. I really wanted a All American Canner but they are to pricey for the amount if canning I do. This is a nice canner. And affordable.

Great product, but not for my stove
The product was shipped promptly in good packaging and with all pieces and parts present. Assembly of the gauge to the lid was very easy. I followed the instructions and practiced with 4 cups of water in the canner. The pressure regulator began to rock at the same time the gauge registered 15 psi. Good sign. I began a methodical process of reducing the heat to get to and maintain 11 psi, which is recommended for my altitude. I wanted to figure out what position my stove dial needed to be at or around for this to happen. Unfortunately, my 1994 electric coil range has too much variability at any given position on the dial to be able to maintain a fairly consistent pressure without frequent little adjustments. I did three "practice sessions" trying to nail down where I need to be on my stove's dial to stay at 11 psi or only slightly above. Because of the size of the canner, I can only use it on the big burner on the front of the stove, so trying another burner was not an option. In the end I decided this unit on my particular stove would take way too much babysitting and adjusting, so I returned it. Disappointing, but maybe with a newer and different type of stove this would work for me. This is a solid priduct, hence the 5 stars. I share this experience because others may not be considering that the stove is a contributor to being able to use this type of canner successfully. I purchased a Presto 16-quart electric pressure canner instead and look forward to its arrival.

Performed perfectly
Beginner to pressure canning, ultimately I didn't have enough space in the freezer so I was forced to get to know this side of preservation. Used this for my '25 garden season and as it was a bit intimidating at first, I did my research, informed myself and it's honestly second nature now. The canner arrived undamaged and performed perfectly, plenty of shelf stable veggies here!

Not induction compatible. I searched for an induction compatible canner and this came up. I have the larger 23 Presto canner which works perfectly with induction this smaller one does not.

I purchased this in 2024 and never got to use it until recently. After understanding the instructions on how it works, everything went smoothly and worked as it should. I canned some garden green beans and garden carrots. No broken jars and they all sealed!! I used square jars, so I lost 1 jar space in the pressure canner. I am so happy with my canner!!

I picked up this 16-quart pressure cooker and I'm happy with it. It’s not as heavy-duty as some of the other brands, but it works just fine. One thing to keep in mind: it comes with a 15 lb pressure weight. Depending on your recipe and the elevation you're canning at, you may need a different weight. These can be purchased separately to suit your specific needs. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option for home canning.

I had to buy a new stove and ended up with a smooth top. I now needed a canner for a smooth top. I decided to try the presto. I was nervous to say the least. I don’t move it once it’s on the stove it could scratch it. I haven’t scratched it yet. It works like a dream. I’m so pleased. I’ve now canned 5 times on it with no issues. Thank you presto. Update: three months later, I can honestly say it works perfectly. I’ve used it about 6 times and have canned 7 quarts at a time. My stove has no scratches and my jars have sealed perfectly.

Did one batch of fish. Canner works fine. Easy to use and clean. The company touts it self as an America brand but the canner was made in China . So the Chinese brand for less money is probably the same canner except it ships from China. Typical
