The ink is great. The fountain pen is even better

This was the first time I had ever used a fountain pen and this was the first ink I had bought for it. The cartridge installed easily and writes perfectly. The ink is a nice blueish grey color and looks very good on the paper. The ink flows nicely with no problems. Seems like a quality product so far.

Works perfect with my pen and a dark color

I didn't know Pilot comes in two or more color ink. I've purchased this before. I would prefer black ink. Buyer be aware. I will purchase this product again.

The first part of the review is for the Blue-Black ink cartridges. The color isn't the most saturated around, but it's a nice blue-black that can actually withstand quite a bit of water without disappearing completely. It also has quite a lot of shading and, using a Pilot Vanishing Point with a fine nib, it dried in less than 10 seconds on Clairefontaine paper. The second part of the review is for the Blue ink cartridges. I'm not usually a fan of 'normal' blue ink, but this one is quite pretty. It's not super vibrant or anything, but it dries quickly and I've been switching between this one and the blue-black ones. I haven't tried the black one yet because I have Noodler's Heart of Darkness as a black ink instead, but if I find myself needing some black on the go I'll definitely give it a try and update this.
