I’ve tried a bunch of different puppy pads, but these Amazon Basics ones are easily the most reliable. The 5‑layer design really does make a difference—no leaking, no soggy spots, and the quick‑dry top layer keeps my puppy from tracking wet footprints around the house. They absorb way more than I expected, and the plastic backing has never let anything seep through to the floor. The size is perfect for daily training, and the pads stay flat instead of bunching up. My puppy took to them right away, and cleanup is super easy. For the price and the quality, these are honestly the best value pads I’ve found. Highly recommend for puppies, small dogs, or even senior dogs who need a little extra help.

I rescued a 3-week-old kitten, and it needs stimulation for peeing and pooping. I was looking for pee pads and was flabbergasted by the price for the ones labeled "for kittens". Pee pads are pee pads. These "dog and puppy" ones are absolutely fantastic. They absorb a lot of liquid (not a single drop formed on top) and don't let any odor spread. Again, I'm not using them for dogs, but for a kitten, and I'm going to use at least 3 a day. Great product for a great price! Don't get fooled by labels.

Great pee pads for the dogs, they work great but the plastic seems to be a little thin compared to other brands so they tear easily.

For a puppy or smaller animal. They are slip resistant. As far as absorbing, like I said it'll be ideal for a smaller bladder animal. They do leak with a Frenchie. Not sure how comfortable but my pup doesn't complain. Seems durable and as long as you're not someone who just throws random pee mats down to keep from taking your pet out then your floor should be protected enough.

These pads are great! Truly xxxl in size and they work better in the space between they are rectangular not square. They also absorb well to avoid any leaking. The price for the size and number of pads is great too!

I have a 13-14 year old dog who is starting to have very frequent accidents in the house despite us taking her outside every couple of hours, she just drinks too much water which doesn’t mesh well with her weakening, old bladder. She tends to have an accident in two areas (the kitchen and right by the front door hallway) so we decided to buy some puppy pads to minimize the mess & aid in cleanup since clearly taking her outside every couple frequently isn’t helping reduce accidents. We chose these because of the size & price, which are both fantastic compared to others. It perfectly fits the two areas she tends to go so we only need to use one per area and to our surprise, she still remembers how to use puppy pads so she adapted quickly. But unfortunately, these don’t hold all of her pee as they are very thin. I just cleaned up the kitchen puppy pad and saw moisture under the pee spot on the pad. So while it does dramatically reduce how much we need to clean up (we were using one paper towel roll every 3 days just for her accidents), we still need to wipe down the floor with pet accident cleaning spray & mop. It’s not that big of an issue but it is still a bit frustrating that they don’t hold fluid well. So keep that in mind if you decide to order these, that you might still need to wipe down the floor under where your puppy/dog pees. We’ll be trying a different brand when we run out of these to see if that’s any better.
