Abaseen New Garden Reed Screening Fencing Roll Fence Panel Natural Wooden Parent… (1.2m x 3m)

I bought two 4m lengths of the reed fencing a few years back from this same company and they were whole reeds with regular wire intervals keeping them nice and sturdy. I returned to buy again because we have moved into a home with twice as much ugly to cover in the garden. I was rather disappointed to see they were now split reeds and with wires spaced 50% further apart. Is it a cost-cutting issue? Perhaps so. Whatever the reason, they're more flimsy and break off easily but we needed them up ASAP. I couldn't begin to consider returning them. Too big to bother and they'd be a flipping nightmare to repack with bits of reed falling off them every time you take a hold of them. I'm giving 3 stars because whilst the quality is lower than I previously bought, they do look nice in situ and delivery was exceedingly quick.

I ordered 7x 1.2m and 2x 2m screens. But the reeds are so thin (2-3mm) and gappy, you'd need to overlay a double lot to get any semblance of screening. Offers no privacy whatsoever. I was able to return the 2x 2m using Amazon postage-paid for Evri to collect from my home. But the same returns policy was not offered for returning these 7x 1.2m screens. Even though both lots were being returned back to BuyBoxx who I bought them from. So I paid £22.16 postage to take the 7x 1.2m screens to an Evri dropoff point and have them collected from there. The Evri driver arrived at my house to take the 2x 2m screens, leaving the 7x 1.2m screens behind for me to pop in my car and drive them to the Evri collection point 3 miles away. I told him to follow me in his van and meet me up there so he could then take them from me. How ridiculous. He didn't of course. I then had to chase BuyBoxx for the refunds and although I was refunded in full for my 2x 2m screens, they shortchanged my refund on the 7x 1.2m screens by £3.93 with no explanation. You can't even get 7 x £19.99 into a £136.00 refund! I lost a total of £26.12 without even getting the screens out of their packets. I messaged BuyBoxx about shortchanging my refund by £3.93 but they replied saying the refund of £136 has been made. Further chasing and they refunded a further £3.90 as a 'goodwill' payment?! Still 3p short with no explanation but I'll let that slide. So think very carefully before you buy these screens from BuyBoxx & read the feedbacks.

It came late. Due to courier not supplier. It was folded in such a way that you have to completely unfold it and then roll it so you can use it. Very fragile and lots of broken reeds.Looks very effective though once up. If you can overlook the broken sections that is.

Easy to put up if there are two of you

It looked good on site but in reality it's very thin Reed and sparsly put together, it kept breaking when we put it up which made it worse. Not the best quality, disappointed.

I have used these and attached them to my fence however the quality is very poor and I doubt they will survive the winter up here 234metres above sea level, very disappointing.
