Great for trapping litter. Very easy on the paws! Can shake the loose litter right back in the box easy to wash in the shower.

This mat is extra large and high quality. I kept it clean by vacuuming. I recently reordered a new one due to a mess so big that I couldn’t (didn’t want to) clean it. This mess would be easy to clean if you had a yard and a hose. I live in an apartment. The price was so reasonable that I just bundled up the mess and threw it in the garbage. I’m glad to have a new, quality and pristine mat.

This rug is great! Looks super neat and clean. Thicker than I expected. Catches the kitty litter that is normally tracked very well. Cats like to scratch on it, and it doesn’t mess it up when they do. Was pretty creased when I got it, but once I put it out it took about 24 hours and it was fine.

This litter box mat has served me well. It catches the litter before it gets tracked onto the floor. It doesn’t get rid of all of the tracking because someone my cats manage to get around it, but it is 90% less than it was before. It’s super easy to clean, I just shake it outside and rinse it with a hose or a bucket of water and scrub it for a deeper clean. I like that it doesn’t absorb the scent. My only complaint is that it does tear a bit in some spots put that’s probably just from prolonged use (I’ve had it for months).

I inherited a 15 year old cat, who pees a LOT. He's in the litter box more than most cats, and was leaving gray footprints on the floor, and our black chairs in the room where litterbox is stored. My cat only used litter occasionally, but this new cat... Clump litter still left bits to track all over. For saving money, I changed litter to the kind from Petco. I think is clay based. Stuck on his wet back feet, as he pees, a LOT. Desperate, I searched out a rug to help, found this. BEST RUG EVER. I bought 2, as I didn't realize how big they are!! I don't need to put 2 side by side, this covers the whole area. Zero litter outside the rug. Zero. And most important, no more little gray footprints in my husband's office chair! Whatever they use in the spun squiggles, it catches all the litter bits, as well as brushing the dust off his paws. I was going to have to go back to the expensive instant clump litter, I had gone through a Costco 4 pack in one week with this cat. But nope. I can use the refill your pail kind, clay based, cheaper, thanks to this rug. The kitty foot scrubber rug. The greatest invention since clumping litter! It catches all the bits of litter, none on my hardwoods. It is easy to shake off outside, I've done once, as a test, but haven't needed to since the first month. The bits fall down through the squiggles. No smell. No dust. It stays put where you place it. I cant say enough! This was a god send. I almost has to get rid of my inherited cat. But now, even my cat is a zero mess cat. 10 stars!!! You can see in my pictures how much he knocks out of the boxes, and how this awesome rug blocks it all! I've had this a few months. I think around 4 or 5.

I've never been so happy opening a Amazon package. I've had the worst luck with either ordering mats that are tiny that I thought was bigger. When I go into stores they are sold out and all they have is small ones. My male cat got older and he doesn't make a big mess. Well I had a 6 month old kitty just show up in my yard a couple months ago. She had no mom or siblings around so she was super scared..She would lay in her litter box and dig and dig when she got anxious and she has pretty much stopped that now but sometimes in the middle of the night she will go dig and she knocks litter out of the box. So im throwing away so much litter and also getting up in the middle of the night to clean up the mess. So I found this mat and I was so worried that it would be a small one or a cheap one that wouldn't last. But boy was I surprised this mat is exactly what I was looking for. Its really big even if cats jump out with litter on there paws the mat will catch it. It covers so much space they have no choice but to land on the mat. Also it's got some weight to it so its not going to move around easily.. Its also really thick so not going to damage easily. This is the best purchase ive made all year. It was definitely affordable and worth every penny. And hopefully i wont have to get up in the middle of the night anymore. It does have a mild smell but its not bad i only smelled it when I took out the plastic. Over all im so happy. ( Ps the picture is to show how big it is with my shoe on it. I wished when I went mat hunting someone did that so I could see the actual size lol.)

This mat definitely has its pros and cons. On the positive side, it has saved me from stepping on cat litter and tracking it throughout the house, which is exactly what I wanted it for. It catches litter extremely well, and the color, size, and overall quality are exactly what I was looking for. The biggest issue I've run into is cleaning it. Because it traps litter so effectively, it can also be difficult to clean when accidents happen. I have a senior/sick cat who occasionally misses the litter box, and when that happens, cleaning the mat is a challenge. I've tried shaking it out, hosing it down, and vacuuming it, but I still can't seem to get it completely clean. Overall, it does an excellent job of trapping litter and reducing mess around the house, but pet owners dealing with frequent accidents may find it harder to clean than expected.

A necessary accessory for all litter boxes. It sure is better than having litter tracked all over the place. I regularly use a hand vac to clean. However the mat does its job so well that litter becomes embedded and trapped (like it is supposed to do). To empty, I put the mat in a garbage bag and shake all the litter out. I am surprised to see a cup or two of litter in the garbage bag that it was holding.
