Brazos Metal Combo Spike for Walking Sticks - Winter and Snow Safety

I bought this tip expecting a bit of fitting to my stick, so I can’t speak to it attaching to any of their walking sticks without modification. However, It’s not hard to shave some wood with a knife for a tight fit. With the added hardware and a bit of Gorilla glue it will never come off. Very solid materials. Well made. I recommend putting a little Teflon tape on the point threads. This will keep them from walking loose on a long hike. They fit well, but hours of vibration can loosen anything. I am going to order a second one for another build.

This will be perfect for the cane I’m making. I already bought a brass topper. This will complete the look. Very well made and will stand up to any abuse I can imagine. Love the pointy metal tip and also can be changed out to a rubber tip for indoors. Very happy!

They had a good price on this so I decided to order it. They shipped pretty quick and safely which is always awesome. The problem is IT DOESN'T FIT MY WALKING STICK. I got the "Brazos Rustic Wood Walking Stick, Twisted Hickory, Traditional Style Handle, for Men & Women, Made in the USA, 55" ". Was so hoping it would be a match since they seemed to promote on the page (heavily implied) for MY stick that it should go with it. NOPE!!! Couldn't really find any more details on Amazon or the Brazos website what ACTUALLY fits my particular stick. The tip is very great quality and it would be totally cool if it fit, 'specially for $10.71. Am probably just gonna keep and not try to return, but, I'm very disappointed because of the UTTER LACK OF IMPORTANT DETAILS!!!!

Lathe marks around the edge and not smooth.

I used this for a cane. It's easy to install but the threads that hold the metal tip feel loose. I'm concerned that the tip will come off without me realizing it. The rubber tip is flimsy at best, but I may not be installing it correctly. If I am then it's pretty useless.

Heavy duty point for my hickory walking stick. A good sharp point that I can use to keep my balance on rough mountain trails or to maneuver through a field of driftwood to get to my favorite fishing area. You will like the quality and sharp point!

I have used this product before and love it. A great product. This is my fourth time ordering two of these tips. The second two shipments came and the padded envelopes where empty. It is obvious the wrong type envelope was used. Hope I can get some product this time.
