Gator Frameworks Split Level Double Layered Pop Filter with Attachment Clamp; Fits Most Standard Microphone Stands (GM-POP Filter)

I am the Founder of Ultimate Survival Tips (look us up online) and Ultimate Outdoor Media... Our livelihood depends on Premium Quality AUDIO and video. I've tried other pop filters... with a single screen and I pop right through them... since for maximum presence and a sweet proximity effect I get right up on my studio mics almost touching them with my pop filters. But the Gator Cases double layered pop filter prevent me from popping through... and finally I "pop" no more. Component quality is excellent with a VERY strong double filter frame, quality "goose neck" and rugged mount that attaches to just about ANY stand. I get one of these guys for each of my voice talent pros to use in their studios. IMO, this Gator Cases double pop filter is a must have for those who are serious about getting pristine, pop free audio recordings.

I was looking for an alternative to the pop filter that Blue sells for the Blue yeti mic. What made this one the most appealing is that the bracket can be seperated from the gooseneck part allowing the gooseneck and pop filter to be screwed directly into the bottom of the Yeti Mic where a mic stand would normally screw into. It's a cleaner looking way to install the pop filter to the Yeti mic and it's very stable too. I tried mounting the pop filter with the bracket attached to the stand the Yeti comes with and even though it can be done, it looks sloppy and its not as secure. As for the pop filter itself, it seems to be of decent quality. The gooseneck is pretty flexible and it holds your desired position well. This is a double layer pop filter with about an inch of space between the two filters.

Double screen at this price is unheard of. Solid product, the gooseneck is sturdy, yet flexible. When you take it out of the package and put it together, it feels solid in your hand, assuring you about the quality workmanship. Does its job very well. It fit into the microphone stand well. Although, I must admit, I had to tighten the screw quite a bit for it to stay put. But once it was tightened, it didn't sag or anything.

The pop filter does its job well. I have had no issue with its ability to prevent unwanted pops. The quality on the other hand is not the best. I have to transport my mic setup often and have already had the snake portion of the assembly separate from the mount. It reattaches rather easily but it come loose every time I need to adjust the position of the shield. For the money it does its job. next time I will shop for a higher end product.

A lot of these filters were getting some conflicting reviews. i was leery but decided to finally choose the Gator Model. Its weight and build are amazing. I think if you are an on he go type person you should refrain from leaving reviews about things that are not necessarily meant to be for a traveling person.. With that said I think this filter will stand the test of time. It locks on great and is very maneuverable. I love the double layers as well. It diffuses the air quite well and all and all I am VERY happy with the purchase. I think this is the BEST deal out there for the price and value. Gator has a reputation for sturdy products and this very much lives up to that. This will be in my studio for a long time. So if you are looking for a Pop Filter this is a great one. And the second you see a review about someone lugging things around that aren't meant to be lugged around skip right over it. They are going to give you a negative view on something that is otherwise a fantastic product. It's like reading a review on how eggs break when you throw them... and then saying "well I am not buying those eggs."

Removes all of the hard P's from my audio. Simple to attach and works great. I do wish it was slightly lighter, but that's minimal.

When I went searching for a pop filter, I just wanted something that could do the job at a low price. Well, this is it. The pop filter performs VERY well, I have no problems with that aspect of this product at all. My recordings come out clean and pop-free...however, I do see where other reviewers were right about it's workmanship...It does seem a little flimsy, you can see where glue is holding some of the parts together and that it probably would not be good at taking a lot of abuse if you carry it around a lot. Also, it does droop a bit when I attach the clamp to the stand. But it's not terrible. After all it's the SOUND quality I am most concerned about, and in that aspect...it does very well. The bottom line is this: If you want a good pop filter at a LOW COST and you don't plan on abusing it with lots of travel and constant wear and tear, then this is PERFECT. If, however, you plan on carrying it around a lot, and you are the kind of person who just tosses stuff around without taking it's fragility into consideration, just fork out the extra cash and look for something more high-end.

Solid, seems good. Screws into the bottom of my Yeti Microphone. Didn't need to use the clamp. The clamp is padded so that is nice if I ever need to use it. No issues really. Tested my Yeti Microphone with and without the filter. The filter did not muffle my voice or change it except for getting rid of some pops. Works as advertised. Build quality seems good. The flex arm stays in position pretty well during a session. If you move the microphone around the flex arm will move so you will need to make a quick adjustment to get it perfectly again. The filter is 5.5in wide. If you are doing something where you need something a little more compact or are working the computer while talking then you might look elsewhere. But if you have this hanging on a boom mike it wouldn't be in the way really. Your call. Overall glad I dig around a little more and got this one instead of the cheaper ones that alter or muffle your voice a bit.

This pop filter works perfectly fine and is good quality. I honestly don’t understand the reviews that said that this doesn’t work as intended because it doesn’t hold the pop filter… That almost deterred me from buying a perfectly good and high quality pop filter. It’s designed so you clamp a pop filter on a stand, and it’ll hold, why wouldn’t that work? After taking a chance I’m so confused as to why a review would say anything near a problem with the clamp. The clamp is extremely sturdy, I'd have to try really hard for it to not work as intended... how is it possible that it’ll be loose for them? They possibly received a defective product

The best pop filter, the spaced double layer helps tremendously, specifically with very close mic recording. Totally recommended.
