Bought for a dear friend who loves woodwork but could be better at it! This book really helped! Great value for money and lots of good content 👍🏻

Easy for follow explanations and instructions for the beginner woodworker. It explains the most common types of joints and tools used. The book also contains lots of instructions for projects, a lot more than I expected. These range from a simple birdhouse to more complex cabinets. All of these can be made with inexpensive hand tools and contain very in depth instructions, cutting lists/measurements and pictures.

I got this for my boyfriend to help him with his college course and he successfully passed it. please do not be shy to get it. I know the price isn’t the best but it is a really good book. It is a very good book.

A good book for anyone with an interest in woodworking, a bit on the light side re using power tools and workshop machines but I’m sure there are more in depth specialist books available. The section on the various joints that can be used was particularly interesting and the projects section gave much food for thought.

Very informative good book

Normally I would buy the Kindle edition of books but with this book you really need the 'physical' book to get the full benefit. I have just rekindled my love of woodwork, mainly because of Covid and I am stuck at home all the time and I needed a book like this to refresh my understanding of the differnt subjects. This book is well written and well organised, so you can either read it cover to cover, or do what I always tend to do with books and that is look at certain subjects that interest me at the time, although I do admit I did read one chapter fully, it was that enjoyable. The author is very knowledgeable and covers each subject in an easy to understand manner. No matter how much you think you know, it is amazing how you find things you have forgotten over the years and that was certainly the case for me, Whether you are a beginner or fairly competent, there will be something in here for you, and will be a great addition to your library, although I buy very few physical books these days, you will definitely benefit by buying the hardback version in this case.

When I read this book, I was amazed at how many brief and well-thought-out ideas it had with an excellent guide to things that you can easily build at home and i was surprised with the range of projects in this book.

Książka bardzo fajnie wydana, choć realność manualnego wykonania samych projektów jest dyskusyjna - bez dobrze wyposażonego warsztatu będzie ciężko ;) A jeśli ktoś ma już dobrze wyposażoną pracownię, nie będzie potrzebował takiej pomocy. A teraz standardowy finał, typowy dla zakupów na Amazon.pl: książkę musiałem zwrócić. Dotarła do mnie z lekko powycieranymi krawędziami i rogami. Taki jest skutek ładowania gołego przedmiotu do zbyt dużego kartonu - kiedy oni w końcu się nauczą odpowiednio zabezpieczać zamówienia?!

This is an amazing book if you're just starting out or want to learn about building specific items! I really enjoyed the information in this book and tend to refer to it often when starting a new project or tool purchase for items I may need. I watched a video online from one of the influencers I follow and caught a great deal on this book. I will use this for years to come!!

Received hardcover book. Full of great information and heaps of pictures to explain everything from how to use hand and power tools, techniques of woodwork, types of wood and a great selection of projects for beginners to advance included. Great read can't wait to get started on project. Great value buy, you won't be disappointed. Arrived within the week.

Great content but I ordered the book twice and twice the cover was damaged! And I don't think it was due to the packaging...
