Rescued: The Stories of 12 Cats, Through Their Eyes Review: A MUST for all cat lovers! - I laughed, I cried, I held my breath as my heart raced! Even though these are short stories, they brought out my emotions as if I were reading the latest NYTimes bestseller. I totally fell in love with each of these kitties. One thing that has stuck with me is the acronym S.A.V.E.D. A forever home is the hope of all shelter cats, but there are always cats that remain at no-kill shelters. Cats that have been rescued, & have made it to a no-kill shelter, still need to be S.A.V.E.D. They need us hoomans to Sponsor, Adopt, Volunteer, Educate, & Donate to these shelter animals! The more people that are aware of this, the better life will be for many more furry friends. Review: Motivated Me - I loved the cats telling of their stories. As a senior after having cats and dogs since a child I kept thinking about adopting a cat. After reading this story I went on my town's Animal Control website and bingo. I found a cat that had a rough start and am now waiting to see if I will be her forever home.

A nice holiday read
A lovely compilation of short stories of cats who have been rescued told from their perspective. It's easy holiday reading, it was enjoyable but not outstanding and why I say that, is that none of these stories will stay with me unlike other ones that have moved me and I remember to this day.

Buy Extra Copies for Your Feline-Loving Family and Friends
Moving and inspirational . . . Wonderfully written, insightful, touching, and funny. I immediately contributed to a nearby rescue shelter and bought an extra copy of the book for my library. This is the perfect gift for your feline-loving family and friends.

Mixed Impressions
I enjoyed the first couple of stories but lost interest after a while. While the cats have somewhat happy outcomes, the rescues seemed to cost them too. I also have a hard time reading about the neglect & mistreatment animals suffer at people's hands.

You will want to save them all.
These stories of rescued cats are told through the eyes of the cats. They will make you laugh, cry and yes break your heart. Each rescue has its own purrsonality and flavor. The stories deal with fostering, adopting and finding strays. I am a cat person and I freely admit it. I loved this book. You will want to rescue them all. Had to hug all three of mine after I finishing reading it. The stories will pull at your heart strings, but sometimes that is a good thing. Everyone needs a wake up call now and then. Disabled cats will tell you how lucky there were to survive. Cats in heaven will tell you about how they were saved and loved. Buy this book, it will make you feel good.

I loved this book. As a cat (feral) rescuer myself if was so heart-warming to read the stories of other rescued cats. I especially loved the way they were written as though the cats themselves were telling the stories.

I haven't finished reading this book yet but it's very much worth the read. I like the way the author has the stories being told from the cat's perspective.
