if the tip falls out, how can we insert it back?

You can buy replacement tips and there's a special glue! Quite easy! Don't expect the tip to fall off anytime soon! They typically don't! They just get worn down! It's a very nice top! I suggest you get a glass base to prolong the life of the top, and it will also spin longer!
