The answer to this is tricky . . . at best.
The dimensions around the top of the pan are much greater than those at the bottom of the pan.
One loses close to 30% of pan area once the tapered dimensions are taken into account.
Jumbo:  22 x 16.5 x 6.5 (near the top)
               18 x 15 x 6.5 (near the bottom)

How tall is this litter box really?  My cat enters the box and instead of turning around, urinates toward the entry (direction he entered).

BUY ASAP!!  I have a chubby 14 yo. lady who does the EXACT same thing but never used to until lately. Over 2018, I began noticing her depth perception appears to be going. She has to look before will eeven Shes's not as aware of her body's position within her environment as she as once was, hence not being far enough into box. Sadly she get real upset.
The low part of the litter box lip (entry) is over my wrist with middle finger on floor. This box paid for itself in a day. Multiple avoided accidents and wayyyyy less litter being thrown out of box too. Sides/back are high, straight and back is 2/3 to my elbow with fingers on floor. Im only 5' x 8". Every issue we were having, STOPPED the day this product arrived (2-3 wks). They have room now. They love it. If you are even considering this litter box - ***STOP AND BUY IT RIGHT NOW!! Absolutely wish had found this years ago.  Cazy this could change your life

My cat is large and pees over the side sometimes...will this box prevent this?

My cat is large as well and this was the same exact reason we purchased this giant litter pan. There has been no pee outside the litter box since. It's definitely worth trying. Best of luck!

As for me. Just be sure that you pick the right one of the 4. My only experience is with the Jumbo and it is exactly the measurements stated.
