works fine. i like that the connector has the pins named so you can exactly know what each pin does. very useful if you want to fix this cable in the future. 115200bps works fine. if you want to go higher i would get those ferrite beads. you would need these if your using a US Robotics courier modems that support 230400 serial speeds.

This cable works as it was intend as a Serial cable I use it to convert to USB for use with ham radio I see not fault in it

Exactly what I needed for connecting a legacy device to a Linux workstation. Cable is of a good quality, and seems robust.

If for some reason you find yourself needing to connect a serial dialup modem, this cable will do the job! Only a straight serial cable will work, a null modem cable won't.

This cable works for a USRobotics Modem connected to the serial port of either Windows Server 2019 or Windows 10.
