I've been a mechanic for over 15 years, and I have to say that the Launch X431 Pros V is one of the best diagnostic tools I've ever used. The device is incredibly easy to use, and it's packed with features that make diagnosing and fixing problems a breeze. It worked well on a 2012 Honda Civic that came in with an engine misfire. After connecting the Launch X431 Pros V to the vehicle and running a diagnostic scan, the tool identified a faulty ignition coil in cylinder #3. I was able to quickly replace the coil and clear the code using the tool, and the car was running like new again in no time. Another great feature of this tool is the ability to access live data from the vehicle's sensors. This has helped me pinpoint issues with fuel injectors, air flow sensors, and other components. I have had this for over a week and I can say for the price it is the best bang for the buck. I was able to use this on a 2002 GMC Sonoma. It worked great! I was able to diagnose the issues and fix what was wrong with the truck in no time. The Bluetooth adapter was fast and had no issues reading the ECU. It does take a few minutes to set everything up but once your done it boots pretty fast. You will have updates to perform. The packaging is nice and comes in a hard case with foam inserts to keep your scanner secure as well as the Bluetooth module. Comes with plenty of cables to connect to just about any vehicle to diagnose and repair. There are only two issues I have with this product but it isn't a deal breaker. The first is I wash there was an easy way to add more memory. It can except a memory card bu there is no way to access it without taking it apart. The second is the instruction manual. It is very basic. You'll have to figure out what tabs to push to get to the information needed. Other than that I would recommend this to someone who needs a more advanced scanner for the hobbiest or the professional.

I purchased the Launch scan tool as a small business owner to scan fleet vehicles when check engine lights came up. I used the unit approximately 12 times over the first 8 months or so. When I last used it I had trouble getting it to turn on. I pulled it out yesterday about 11 months since purchase and the unit refuses to power on. Fully charged, tried for a couple days…nothing. It appears to be an issue with the power on button. Warranty info in manual says to send to an address in China to see if they will warranty any repairs…phone number for service is also in China. Sounds like a long shot sending away the tool and hoping it gets repaired let alone sent back. Highly recommend buying something with better longevity, quality and service options. Very disappointed since I have a couple cheap scan tools that have lasted for many years!

I love this diagnostic scanner!used it to help resolve an air cylinder issue.I was also able to easily code a 2017 honda civic to disable the annonying setbelt chime.the prossess was seamless,and I was able to complete every work in just a few minutes.Another feature that impressed me was the devices albe to perform comprehensive systems.it quickly identified andy issue that needed attention,and the device provided helpful recommendations on how to resolve them,this saved me a lot time and money. I wanted to say that this Launch x431 is indeed a trustworthy scanner tool as the review say. it It reads the car information automatically which is a very fast process. and you can see on the screen that almost all the car data modules are read. the real time live data is a nice part that makes it easy for me to find the specific problem with my car and fix it. I diagnose several cars and at first when I tested the new Chrysler vehicle, there was a problem assessing the gateway security module, and I tried to contact the tech support via the email address given in the ad, and they were kind enough to help me solve the problem very quickly. overall, it will be a good purchase for anyone who don't want to pay much to dealers.

I used it maybe 10 times and this’ s the best diagnostic scanner I’ve used. Noneof the innova functions worked. This x431 pros v reads everything. It has 12 livedata streams.m have a Mercedes, other scanners told me nothing about the servicehigh voltage charging system error other than what the dash already said. This x431pros scanner pinned it down to the coolant level sensor. It works.Also I was able to read codes in the gem module of 1997 Ford F150, super fast, andI can even see the oxygen sensor voltage.-Overall, this is a great scan tool to analyze and solve issues for a large quantityof vehicles. I love it. Also, it is built with high-quality materials, which makesit quite sturdy for daily work.
