beautiful
Installed fairly easily. Love the light. You can choose which color light white or yellow. It has the most pleasant glow on yellow setting, yet is plenty bright enough to see well. Love it!

Awesome Light
Awesome light. Better cost than I could find at Home Depot. Easily change brightness with a flip of the switch. Quality light , I highly recommend.

Nice Under Cabinet lights, when you know how to install them...whoops -- WATCH THE VIDEO
This is a very nice replacement for a 12" fluorescent. It was remarkably easy to install AFTER figuring out the disassembly instructions. Nice that they give you an instruction to take out a knockout (as if), but really don't explain how to get to the guts very well. So, here I go: Instruction #2 (after removing the lens) says, "Disassemble metal cover by squeezing the cover till it releases from the tabs and then pull up." Well, what tabs? I'll tell you: There are very small tabs on the front portion of the bottom side of the base that hold the LED assembly and top cover to the base. See photo attached. When it says "squeez[e]", you have to wonder if you are going to squeeze the LEDs into oblivion. And, that's only after you know where the tabs are (which you now do). I didn't feel comfortable "squeezing" the LED assembly, so I used a flat head screwdriver to push the top cover away from the tabs on the base. When I figured out what to do (on my first of 2 fixtures, the second one took 10 minutes to install). UPDATE: WATCH THE VIDEO to see where the tabs are located. (Stupidly, I didn't) The fixture has two different light frequency settings, 2000K and 3000K with a rocker switch to change right on the cover, opposite the on/off switch. I found the LED to be slightly brighter than the 8W 12" fluorescent that it replaced. Pretty close, though

Works well. Looks nice. But hard to open and close fixture
It is hard to open and close this fixture. Actually, I had no problem opening it. But a bear of a time getting the edge under the tabs to close it. The slugs (for the wiring) are not punched for easy removal as others have said. I ended up using a cutting disk on a dremel tool to cut it enough to remove it. There is not enough diameter in the guide that brings the house wiring to the fixture to run the romex into the fixture. You have to just run the actual wires through it as the insulated jacket won't fit through. The end result does work well. I like being able to select the two light temperatures. I ended up leaving it at the warmest setting though.

Bright and dimmable just as advertised.
I replaced the crappy builder's grade fluorescent under cabinet lighting with these and am very happy with how they turned out. They are bright, have two colors, the warm being more yellow, and they dim with the dimmer switch I installed. Easy to install and they work as advertised. Also, if you have 12" lights, but 24" ones will fit, go with the 24s. It gives a nice even complete light under the cabinet with no gaps. Love these so far.

Great light for the money
This is the 3rd light I have ordered, the first two were for under the the cabinet in the kitchen. It's not easy to install lights under cabinets because of the cramp area to work in but these lights made the process very simple. So easy to install and assemble in a tight area. They look great and the choice of two light modes are a plus. Ordered the third light for the entrance to the basement, removed old florescent light and installed this in less them 10 minutes. Don't hesitate on buying this product its worth the money.

My First Impression
1. The light works BUT! 2. The lens cover is very difficult to remove and to reinstall. 3. The metal cover that exposes the wires is also difficult to remove and even harder to reinstall. 4. The wire nuts are for very small wires. Not adequate for Romex wire. 5. If you are replacing a fixture that has been professionally hardwired, you should use your existing cable connector and wire nuts. Do not mess with the cheap parts that came in the package. 6. The metal housing is very shallow in depth. It does not allow for adequate space for all the wiring. 7. You will be able to fit all the wires in, but it is frustrating and it takes more time than necessary. 8. The rivets that hold the LED's in place are very cheap. One of the rivets popped loose during installation. 9. The light works and is very bright with 2 different color temperature levels. Warm white and cool white. 10. Bottom Line: The light works and is very nice. The cheap and skimpy material make an easy installation frustrating and difficult. Time will tell if the light works for the promised 50,000 hours. It does come with a 5 year warranty according to the Amazon website.

Decent for the price
I bought these to replace my under cabinet lights in my kitchen because I didn't like replacing costly bulbs. These lights are really bright and great for task lighting. I didn't realize how much brighter they were going to be over the lights I was replacing. These lights are not for mood lighting. A few notes for those looking to buy: 1) The tabs holding the unit together are no joke. I struggled to get the unit apart to install and used some colorful vocabulary, but eventually prevailed. It's not the easy pop-apart like in the video. But I do suggest watching the video before starting. 2) The curvature of the lens cover causes the light to be a bit blinding. As I sat at my kitchen island about 8 feet away, the lights peek just slightly below the cabinet and were distracting. As I sat in my living room about 15 feet away (obviously sitting much lower), the lights were disturbing. The lights I replaced had a housing so that all light was directed downward. I worked around this by placing a strip of white electrical tape across the front of the lens, and now it is not so distracting and blends decently enough. If you have trim along the bottom of your cabinet this may not be an issue for you. 3) The screws are a little too long and broke through the bottom of the cabinet. Recommend a small washer or something to prevent breaking through your cabinet. Hope this helps. Good luck!
