Much higher quality straps than I was expecting. This product is very well made, and I highly recommend it. It is comfortable, easy to get on/off, you can lace the bottom on if you want and use the hook strap for the top. For cowboy boots it is perfect. A great value.

Absolutely loving them so far! They make an annoying clicking sound but they protect my meet and I wear earplugs at work anyways so its not my problem! Might even buy a second pair and spray paint em for my new work boots

These are great. I work in a facility where heavy object would fall onto our feet sometimes , and it has been great. The only thing I could say bad about these are that the hinges get stuck sometimes and it is frustrating. If they are going to remake these I hope they make it so the the flaps dont get stuck. Also if these were metal I dont think the hinges would of got stuck. Other than that, this product has been great.

I am on my second pair of these. We are required to have metatarsal protection for work but they don't make them in orthopedic shoes. These are probably better than the ones built into boots. They can catch on my steel toes. I just put a 3/4" rubber hose over the laces to force them forward. It worked great.

The guards themselves are fantastic. I work with steel pipe all day and 2.5 years after buying them they are still going strong and have protected me, through several pairs of boots. The downside are the straps. Seems about every 6 months one of the straps that goes on the underside snaps. This is typically when they separate/flip up at the hinge when they are flexing and nothing is holding the lower section in place. This wouldn't really be a problem except getting replacement straps is a nightmare. They are almost permanently "sold out." I feel like it's just a ploy by the company to force you into buying a complete pair that costs almost 3x as much as just buying the replacement straps when they are actually selling them.

These are great, they weren't too difficult to figure out how to put on. The button snap is the only negative, they're the kind that work great until they break all at once with no warning. Luckily the design is done well enough that you could just use a string or whatever you have to loop around. The price is great, and they save my feet from heavy steel sheets falling. They work great for welding, grinder sparks; my boot laces seem to be holding up very well with these on. If you don't want to spend big money on metatarsal boots or just need a specific kind of boot to wear, then these are a great option.

Absolute junk. These are BS. Don't waste the time or money. Just 5 minutes out of the box and the first one broke while putting them on my new boots. I'm giving 1 Star , but only because I can't give Zero Stars.

I wear these on my boots 5-6 nights a week at Alro Steel. They require metguards and I require a specific kind of boot so I got these. So far my foot hasn’t been crushed. They can be a pain to put on because of the way the hinge is but once you do it a couple times it isn’t bad. It takes a little bit to get used to the straps. They put a bit of pressure on the tops of my feet before they got “broken it”. A week or two of that and now I don’t notice them. I had to bend the hooks of the straps over to make them stay in the holes. The straps are of good quality and design. They get HEAVY use from me and barely show the slightest sign of wear. The leather on my boots is in worse shape than the strap. I definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a solid metguard.

Nice and light , gives a sense of security when you're lifting plywood etc.
