Slice - 10400 Box Cutter, 3 Position Manual Button with Ceramic Blade, Locking blade

I am a breadth away from being 70 and have grip and right shoulder issues, but this puppy really does the job well, leaving no fear of accidently slicing something that shouldn't be sliced. The handle makes movement so much easier for me as I have trouble with grip strength and shoulder range of motion. I was a bit skeptical about the nonmetallic blade at first. No worries now, although for some of the heavier boxes I do have to run through more than once to cut cleanly. Having previously used scissors and regular box cutters, I have no complaints with doing that, though. At least with these, I can cut safely and, let's be honest, I had to do multiple cuts also sometimes with the scissors or metallic cutters. And I love the colors of fuschia and yellow! It looks quite snazzy and untool like, almost like a fashion accessory or decoration. Pretty and practical. This truly is a fantastic buy!

This is a good safe knife to use when you are trying to cup open boxes. I normally need one that can be used to cut boxes to make them easier to throw away. It makes quick work of cutting the packaging tape but it is safe enough to not cut you which is good. Regardless it safety retracts and stores the plastic blade. You have to actually press and hold the button down to extend and retract the blade. This makes it so the knife cannot close by itself by accident when you are cutting. You can flip the blade around but the material has yet to go blunt. The blade itself can also be easily replaced all you need to do is press and unlock the cover to expose the blade. You then can replace it with a new blade. You need to replace it with a slice blade. What is nice about this blade is that only half it is actually out so when the one side gets dull you just need to turn it around and presto you have another blade to use. Again the blade has yet to have issues. The grip is pretty secure and there is a belt hook so you can put it on your belt without worrying about it falling off. You have to find some kind of ring or hook to attach to it though. It is not included. This can cut most small boxes as well as tape which is great for me because I always have a ton of boxes and mailers I need to open. The orange color is not bad but it see darker near the tip piece. Because it has no real metal, it is not prone to rusting. This means it can get wet and you can easily clean/dry it out without fear of damaging it. Overall I think this device is pretty nice. It is definitely a good utility knife to have around as it is safe, sturdy, and cuts through packaging tape without worrying about cutting yourself.

This works great to open boxes, bubble mailers, envelopes, plastic clamshell packages, plastic seals on lids and bottles, you name it. It feels good in the hand and is easy to use. It’s saved me so much frustration and my manicure too😊. It’s so awesome that I bought two.

I have been using this box cutter for more than a month now and I love it! It opens my packages much easier than any other box cutter. It is large and fits in my hand perfectly. The blade appears plastic but works well and is less likely to hurt the user.

I purchased these box cutters last year as part of Christmas gifts. I have one of the same brand, and I love mine. I know that the ones that I purchased are also used often and appreciated as well. I use mine all of the time to open my many packages that I receive. They work great and are sharp but also are safe being that they are ceramic blades. The blades are replaceable. They are ergonomic as well making them easy to use. You don't have to worry when opening the package if they will damage the contents. You can choose between two different settings. Great purchase!

Cuts through cardboard like butter. No need to sharpen. I hope it's durable. Time will tell.

Pretty good. This is a replacement for a previous one that fell apart when dropped around a metre onto wooden floor. It works well but not durable.

Noża używam już trochę i na pewno spełnia swoją rolę. Nie można jednak go traktować jak zwykły metalowy nóż. Ostrze jest ceramiczne i nie jest ostre. Jest ono wykonane oczywiście tak specjalnie, aby chronić produkty znajdujące się w opakowaniu. Idealnie nadaje się w związku z tym do przecinania taśmy, otwierania pudełek, ale mocniejszych opakowań nim nie otworzymy.
