They were out of control a total infestation. I read soooooo many product reviews and took a chance with these stylish indoor bug zappers. I bought two for opposite corners of our family room where there were the highest concentration of these little pests. With 24 hours of plugging them in the zapping grids were COVERED with hundreds of the little guys and I’ve found myself having to clean the grids every day. My only complaint is the cleaning brush that’s included is a little too wide / thick and the bristles get “fluffed up” after the first use but that’s really not a big deal. We’re planning on buying 3 more for our office, kitchen and bedroom as they are so effective! If you have flies or bugs of any kind in your home and have been looking for something that will work.... don’t even hesitate to buy these.This was not a paid review, I did not get a discount or get the products for free. I paid full retail and am a very honest reviewer. I only add this so anyone reading it has the confidence to trust what they are reading. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small & expensive for its size, but it works. *by R***H on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2019* It works, but it’s very small with a small UV light. I had put it in my room for about a week, but it only caught a couple moths and no mosquitos. However, after I put it outside for a few days and checked it today, I saw that it did zap a lot of bugs and A LOT of mosquitos. I suggest to use it outside or some place where there are a lot of bugs because that’s where this one seems to work well. It didn’t catch any mosquitos or gnats in my room as I was still getting bit.This zapper came with a brush, so that was very helpful when trying to clean it. The only downfall is that this zapper is a bit expensive for its size. I bought another zapper that is much bigger and covers up to 1 acre in area for only $43. I’d rather pay another $10 or so to get a bigger zapper than getting this one. Since it does work though, I’m going to continue using this one and my bigger zapper for outside. Our city came overridden with mosquitos these past few years, so I hope these zappers continue to work. My other bigger zapper came with a mosquito attractant, so i’m hoping both zappers outside kill a lot of them now. I also put lavender scent bags and lemon grass scent door hangers on our doors outside, hoping that less mosquitos come into the house.I do recommend this zapper, but if you have enough money for a bigger zapper, I would suggest you do that since this one is small and also can only zap a limited number of bugs before you have to clean it again. I bought this to deal with an outbreak of drainflies in one room of our house. We have tried everything and these pests are not coming from the drains! They are apparently coming in from outside, and we only get them for a few months of the year but they get everywhere and are disgusting. I put this lamp in the room and within 24 hours the flies are gone! The screen was covered with dead bugs. I have never been so pleased to see such a large scale massacre.
