I've been through a lot of different cat foods searching for the right thing for my 16yo cat, Halo. She's fussy at the best of times and because of a kidney illness sometimes goes off her food - so I wanted something which was nutritious, tasty, and would give her the nutrients she'd need for her health. This is the best wet cat food I've found – high in natural nutrition, but also clearly tasty. My cat laps up every last bite, leaving a clean bowl after each meal (which, as the owners of fussy cats will know, is sometimes not easy!) Each tin is the ideal size for a portion for a main meal, and I've noticed my cat will wolf down most of the portion before going back for seconds a few minutes later. She can't get enough of it, and I'm glad to see her enjoying her food. Because this cat food is a little more expensive than other alternatives, I've tried making it go further by mixing it in with some of her kidney support dry food, which has been successful! As other reviews have mentioned, it also smells (and looks!) surprisingly good, without the traditional smell of meat-heavy cat food. In short, while it's not the cheapest cat food option out there, my cat loves it and eats all of it – and that's as much of a recommendation as I need!

my cats love this cat food and never leave any . i have 2 large ginger cats and a small ton feeds 2 of them twice a day . they have half a tin each .also 1 of them was having chronic unsettled stomach for months . changed to this brand and another another high quality dry food and he is 100% better

My cat Kevin loves these tins. He is not food-driven and is quite fussy but will eat these any day of the week. The price is worth it with no fillers and grains. This is my new "go to" cat food

It's good according to my cat she couldn't get enough of it, until I bought a big box of it and then I was stuck she went off it, that's cats for you.

Quality wise, these are good. My cat who is ultra fussy, likes these. I found the smaller tins worked out better value £ per kg, but were also a bit easier to manage as I can feed her small portions more often, and the food smells fresh to her. The only negative about this food is that it is quite pricey.

Purrfectly Pleased Kittens! Applaws Mackerel & Sardines is a winner in our house! Picky kittens love the taste, and I love that it's helping them gain weight. Wish the cans were a tad bigger, but overall, fantastic food. I’d like to see a bit more rice but still they seem to love it.

Lo han subido casi 10€ de golpe y ahora está doblemente caro. En la tienda Applaws y en otras web's está mucho más barato (sin contar ofertas), pena que no me di cuenta antes. Es por lo único que no le pongo 5 estrellas. A mi gata mayor me cuesta mucho encontrar un bote que le guste y esté es uno de los pocos que le gustan, puede que por el queso más la combinación de buen atún. La entrega fue uno o dos días antes de lo previsto.
