Seals like a charm, lovely design
I used these in lieu of traditional lids and rings to can fig jam. They sealed and popped perfectly! I used them in hot jar and hot bath canning. They fit my Ball regular mouth jars. I mailed (via USPS) several jars of the jam to my mom and she reported they arrived without a single leak. This particular lid looked lovely with the golden color of the figs. I will purchase again.

Difficult to line up cover on jar.
Pretty but difficult to line up threads to screw cover on properly. A little disappointed and giving away in hopes that it might be easier for someone else that doesn't need to remove the cover very often.
