Must-have for all moms with kids in diapers!
I went to a baby shower last weekend and someone gave this as a gift, raving about how great it is, and I knew I had to try it. I was not disappointed! This may be the highest rated item I've ever seen on Amazon with a significant number of reviews. It works great. Now appying cream to my baby's bottom is like icing a cake! It's obviously much more sanitary in terms of no longer rubbing my baby's bottom with my bare finger. I'm about the farthest thing from a germaphobe but even I'm not totally at ease with a finger that's touched a "poop exit" (Amazon took exception to my anatomical term for this body part) being around my baby, no matter how well I wash it. I don't really care for myself, but I worry about my baby and his immature little immune system, and intestinal bacteria are just the worst. Also, some of the creams out there (looking at you, Burt's Bees) are incredibly sticky and waterproof, which makes them great creams but almost impossible to easily remove from your fingers. This tool obviously prevents that issue. Finally, I also think it's better for his bowel movements (hear me out). There just is no way to really get the cream in there (most of his irritation is always right around the "exit hole") without somewhat rubbing the "exit hole", which in turn often stimulates a probably premature bowel movement. This spatula lets you get the cream really close to the hole without stimulating it. For the price, quality, and utility, this is a must have for all moms with kids in diapers!

A diaper-changing upgrade. Keeps hands clean, spreads cream evenly, and easy to clean, loved by parents.

A MUST-HAVE product for easier application!!
I bought this because my daughter has super sensitive skin and is prone to diaper rashes. Because of this, I use aquaphor for every diaper change and this little butt spatula takes the hassle out of messy finger application. I'm such a big fan of this thing. Helps spread creams evenly and easily, the silicone material is easy to clean, it is a durable and quality product, is a good price, and it has a little suction cup to keep it upright. If you frequently use diaper rash creams, I would HIGHLY recommend this applicator to make the process easier and less messy! I hope this review was helpful!

Fantastic product!
This is a lifesaver product when changing diapers. Easy to wipe the cream off the spatula and nothing ever has to touch your hands. It also feels very hygienic due to the material. I ended up buying a few to keep in various locations and even purchased the small travel version for on the go!

Wish I'd Thought of This!
I purchased the BabyBum Diaper Cream Brush as a baby gift for a first-time mom. My son and daughter-in-law have 2 for my grandchild--one for the nursery and one for the diaper bag. This is one of the best ideas ever. As any parent knows, any diaper rash prevention/treatment product worth the name is thick, sticky, and hard to get off the hands of the diaper changer. Hand application results in using more product than necessary because about 1/3 to 1/2 of the product seems to remain on the fingers of the person applying. THEN comes the problem of getting it off the fingers so the diaper can be closed and fastened. This item is like a third hand--no joke! It has a suction cup base that keeps it anchored to the changing table or nearby chest in an upright position. This means you can load the spatula-like applicator end with the diaper cream product BEFORE removing the dirty diaper. Your hands stay free of the cream while you tidy baby and position the clean diaper. The brush is very soft and flexible, but it is silicone so the cream does not adhere to it like it does to skin and you truly use much less. Then, when you are finished with application, the brush can be "stuck" back in an upright position to the surface of the chest/table until diapering is done, so no messy transfer. Cleanup is a breeze with a baby wipe. What I would have given to have this 28 years ago! Some of the best money you will ever spend! Additional comment: I just realized something! I'm going to order one of these things for myself-- to apply depilatory cream to my face! Update: I did purchase this product specifically to apply depilatory cream to my face and it works like a charm. Very pleased!

Seems silly but works well
Not sure how we went this long without one of these! We recently bought a jar of diaper rash cream and getting to the bottom of it with fingers was alot of mess. We bought this to make sure we can get all the diaper cream. And this little tool made putting the diaper cream on so much easier! Our hands stay clean and we don't have to worry about getting it underneath our nails. Also we noticed that it gives a smoother and more even coverage so less of the cream needs to be used. This would have helped us out when our son was younger but if we ever have another child we wont hesitate to buy one of these again!

I didn’t think this was necessary but it’s an absolute game changer. With one easy swipe, babies bum has a perfect coat of Vaseline (or diaper cream). No messy hands. Love it!

A friend recommended this and I thought it was overkill, but actually really love it! It spreads easily and avoids any unpleasant accidents with a newborn!

Why have I been applying sudo cream with my finger for the last 2 months? This came the day after ordered, which was fantastic & honestly it's a product I never knew existed & never knew I needed! 100% great product, wish I'd known about it earlier!

It does nothing, used it only once and the I realised that you have to wash it after every use.
