Outdoor String Lights - 80 Ft Rope Lights with 240 Color Changing LEDs, Waterproof & Plug-in for Wedding, Patio, Garden & Christmas Decor

80 foot length was perfect for one run across my house. Bought 3 sets - but will buy a couple more. This set allows EACH LED to be a different color so it looks like a mixed Christmas string. Put on fade or flash gives a real Christmas feel. Or you can set all the LEDs to one color - we set them to orange for Halloween and will do green at St Patrick’s, Red at Valentines, etc. The ‘rope’ is VERY thin - almost a thick kite string - so you cannot see the line during the day unless you look really hard. LED’s are bright - similar to the incandescent I used last year. I highly recommend these over other LED line options due to the ability to have every color showing on the same line.

5 Stars on the first night - waiting to see how long they last 😉. They are listed as 80 feet, but the section with lights is only 76 feet. There is a 3' cord from the plug to the control receptor, followed by 10' to the first light, then 76' of cord with lights. The 13' without lights allows for hanging the string along a ceiling without having lights trailing down the cord to the plug. I didn't count the number of LEDs to verify there are 240. The lights are brighter than I expected - one strand strung around the top of all 4 walls of my 14x17' screenroom lights it up adequate for late night ambiance & dining in any of the color selections. They are "faerie lights" strung through a very small tube - about 1/16 to 1/8" diameter. Since it is so thin, it kinks easy, so be careful unrolling them and hanging them.

The product is excellent. Definitely worth every dollar.

Had for almost a year now. They worked great had them up the entire time. Just last week they stopped working out of nowhere. They were on a timer only on for 4 hours a days so not constant.

Connection easy

This review is for electrical outlet (not battery powered) lights. I'm mad the return window has closed. I've had them in one location (set to orange) for weeks. I recently moved them for Christmas. AND now it rained. They have been outside continuously for many weeks, but 4 days was the first time that the CONTROL BOX was exposed to rain. The lights themselves still work....for now. But the remote control will no longer change the color and even pressing the button on the box does not produce an immediate result. Sometimes pressing a button will do nothing and sometimes when I press the button the appropriate color change will be made about 5 minutes later. The timer function no longer works at all. For me the whole purpose of buying these was to have an OUTDOOR set of lights that runs off of an electrical outlet and the color could easily be changed. Since color changing was my priority and now just one hard rain seems to have made that difficult/impossible, I am NOT a happy customer. If I had paid $10 for these lights, I would be fine... but paying over $40 for something that does not function as advertised is upsetting. I guess if you take your time they could be easy to install. However when I tugged on the 1 and near the electrical outlet to plug in and test the whole strand unraveled and it was very difficult to untangle the mess. If there was some kind of a note in the box saying "pull from here", it would have helped greatly.

These LED rope lights are so cool that they can be used on any occasion. Instead of having Christmas lights I plan to use these. You can make it one solid color or change the color patterns. There are 16 colors to choose from! How cool is that? I am going to use these on any possible event and holidays. I usually do not put up lights on Halloween, but this year I am plan on it! The drawback is that you cannot dim it and it is very bright. That is not an issue for me as I like my lights bright and showy. The setting and controller requires tinkering with, but once you know how your way around how it works it is pretty fun. Maybe I'll change the light depending on my mood who knows? I got the 66 ft ones because the more lights the merrier. These lights are cheery and lights up my world. Pun intended.

I love these lights but they don’t last very long even though they are supposed to be outdoor. I’ve purchased like 6 or 7 strands. I have them out at my pool and keep them on a timer during summer and winter. They just stop working and I have to buy another strand and replace. They don’t last more than 10 mos. Should be better quality for the price.
