This is the best-tasting Elderberry "syrup" I've tried this year. It's not a true syrup because it's not thick like the most popular brand that begins with "S". That one taste like runny grape jelly. This one uses honey instead of glucose syrup or glycerin, if you're trying to avoid those ingredients. Also no potassium sorbate or citric acid to preserve it, so keep it in the fridge after you open it. I like the ginger, clove & cinnamon because they give it a good taste and they're not overwhelming. And the ACV is good for so many things that help keep the body healthy.The "S" brand is almost always sold in a 4 ounce bottle, but at $9 a pop that's like $2.25 per ounce! This stuff comes out to about $1 per ounce. Much more economical. I'll probably buy it again.

Love my elderberry syrup, during the cold season this is just what my body needs. The taste is good have no problem, the quality is great. My immune system is grateful to me. I feel good fast!

**FIRST: This has a JUICE texture, not a SYRUP. I think the brand should rename this because I see a lot of the other reviewers say they think it's watered down. I actually prefer this juice consistency much better than the thick sambuccol syrup.The flavor is strong but not bitter. I enjoy it, as an adult. I can see how kids would probably be more willing to drink this supplement compared to other syrups on the market.I appreciate that there's no chemicals or mystery ingredients in this compared to other brands (no "natural flavors" or "artificial flavors" - who really knows what that means???) Just actual food based sources like cloves and elderberries! I can't say how long it stays good in the fridge because I've been going through it pretty quickly. It's currently early winter (cold & flu season!) and I've been taking 2-3 doses a day while everyone in the other cubicles around me is coughing and sneezing all day.I take this along with many other nutritional supplements and so far I have not gotten sick this winter! Usually I end up catching the colds that just rip through the open office I work at. I think this supplement gives me the little extra immune strength I was needing. I do not think that just this product alone is enough to never get sick. You also need vitamins such as C and D for the immune system to work. But, if you're taking those and still getting the sniffles, try adding this to your regimen like I did.

Decent tasting Elderberry syrup. A bit pricey in my opinion, but it is what it is.

I have bought elderberry syrup many times, but other brands. They are usually thick and syrupy. This is more like elderberry water. I can't imagine the concentration level in this watery concoction is near as effective as a thick syrup. Just watered down syrup. Wouldn't buy again.

We love our Elderberry and this is the best Elderberry we have been able to find that is good quality and comes in large quantity at a reasonable price. Everyone in my house takes some every day and I swear it has prevented our household from the colds that everyone else came down with this winter.
