Terrific printer
I bought this printer over five years ago . it is still going strong ! It is my second one. The first i bought in 2015 and gave to my daughter. I. Both are/were easy to use and set up. I am 77 years old and wrote a weekly newspaper column and am now writing a book. . The separate ink works great and is so so much cheaper and lasts longer than a cartridge, ! It prints well . I only had to contact Epson once (easy to do ) and it was my fault . I use the scan, double sided, change of size etc. well worth the fair price !

The ink NEVER dries out and last a long time!
I bought this Epson for home and then had my boss buy it for me at work because I liked it. At work I print about 25 pages a day, give or take. It took 13 months before I had to refill my black ink. It NEVER DRIES OUT! I cannot say enough about how much I love this printer. At home, we all print from our phones and computers on the first try, every time. When I finally had to refill my black ink at work it cost $13.88. That's it. Life changer. There are probably newer models now because this is from 2021 (not even close to needing to refill my ink at home yet!) The printer was expensive, $300-ish but so worth it. My only complaint is the way the paper loads. I would have preferred a drawer so it can sit closer to a wall in the back. However, changing paper types (plain, card stock, 4x6 photo, etc) is way easy with the back feed. You do have to tell it you switched paper sizes on the machine before you can just switch from an 8.5x11 vs 4x6 or what type of paper you're using. It does get mad about that sometimes. Scanner function I don't use/haven't figured out yet. Copier works perfect. Home I use wifi, work I'm plugged directly into it. Easy-peasy both ways. Doesn't do double sided printing. Color ink level barely moves but I use it quite a bit. It just lasts forever. My mom bought one too since I told her it was great. She complains the screen is too small for her to read without her glasses on. Overall - absolutely a great investment. The ink is always ready when you need to print! Even if months go by between printing.

Wow! I love this printer.
Irrelevant Backstory: Before I bought this printer I owned two printers; A hp and a cheap canon. The canon ink was as much as the printer and nothing is wrong with the hp, I just wanted a cute white one to go in my office. Upon searching I came across his cartridge free printer which I didn’t even know was an option. The reviews were great and it seems this printer is more green than the usual option so I decided to give it a shot. Unboxing and Setup: Super simple to set up; just follow the instructions. -Take off all the protective tape. -Load the printer with ink then turn the printer on -let the ink run into the printer which takes about 10 minutes -It says you can adjust later but you want to ADJUST NOW otherwise your prints will have lines in them. During the adjustment it will print three papers the first paper is just text, the second paper it prints a multiple lines of squares and you go through and you choose the square with the least amount of lines in them. This step ensures that your prints don’t have lines. The third print it prints multiple sets of parallel rectangles and you have to choose a set of rectangles that do not overlap or have separation between them. It was hard to selected the set since they are black rectangles but I just chose the set right before the set where I could see separation. Next, I connected the printer to my WiFi using the control panel; this was easy. I was able to select the epson printer from my phone after and it printed without flaws and fast. The printer does have a quiet setting and I turned it on. The printer is a bit quieter but of course not silent. Afterwards, I filled the printer up with the rest of the ink. The levels go down after running through the printer and there is a small amount left in each bottle after initial fill. I didn’t adjust again after and it still printed flawlessly. Overall I am very satisfied from this printer but only time will tell. PROS: Ease of setup Long periods of time in between ink replacements (I assume) Size (smaller than I thought) Look (pretty) Fast prints Flawless printing The control panel swivels The screen has a backlight CONS: (More like a wish list because I knew the printer was this way was when I bought it.) -Top loading (need more space for the printer because it is top loading; wish it was bottom loading) -does not print double sided by itself (you have to manually flip and print)

Print heads were clogged, the cyan and magenta weren't coming out, had to deep clean numerous times to get it printing correctly. This is a first time buying a new printer that is clogged or ink wasn't printing... Asked the seller to return, and received no communication back from them at all. After a week of trouble shooting, watching videos and power cleaning and head cleaning the printer is finally printing almost perfectly. I wonder if the printer was "new" or maybe it's common in "new" printers to be clogged or not to print properly when installing.
