Better than the protectors at the T-Mobile store
Before I bought this protector, I had tried 3 other screen protectors already. The first 2 were from the T-Mobile store. One of them was a very expensive tempered glass protector and it cracked from the side all the way to the bottom of the phone within the first 2 weeks. The tempered glass screen protector added a terrible glare to the screen, and made it impossible for the screen to display any true blacks without being in a dark room. The tempered glass also had a faint grid pattern that could be made out when the screen was off and there was enough light. Perhaps the worst part of the tempered glass was it made the finger print scanner on the phone absolutely useless. It almost never worked. I have insurance on my device, so T-Mobile swapped out the glass protector with a plastic one and it performed much better. The glare problems were gone and the finger print scanner worked great. However, literally within the first day my keys had created 2 large gashes in the protector. I decided to just buy a cheap one on Amazon, and I immediately started to look for the iq shield brand because I have had great luck with them on my curved Galaxy devices in the past. However, it must have been too close to the launch of the phone because I couldn't find them on Amazon for the oneplus 7. I tried out one that looked similar, and was very disappointed in the installation of the protector and the size of the protector. It was a little too big and would peel up on the sides when I put my phone case on. A few weeks later, I went back on and searched again for the iq shield and found it after a bit of digging. Just like in the past, the wet installation was super easy and after the protector dried out it looks great. It has no problems with peeling on the edges after adding my phone case and there are no added glare problems. The finger print scanner also works great. The actual feel of the protector is actually really nice for a plastic protector as well. It certainly doesn't feel as nice as glass, but with curved screens I have never had luck with tempered glass. If you want the touch of glass, you will probably need to go without any protector at all. Price aside, this is the best protector I have used. Way nicer than the expensive ones I tried at the T-Mobile store. Considering the price, this is an absolute no brainier. Installation tip: install the screen in a steamy bathroom to help keep dust from getting on the screen during the install.

Easy install, no need to rescan fingerprints.
I have gone with IQ shield products for my past few screen protectors. While it is true that tempered glass products might seem more durable, IQ Shield's film possesses one unique advantage over tempered glass. It is thin, truly transparent, and not at all difficult to install. OnePlus 6T is the first phone in the US with in-display fingerprint scanner. The problem with most tempered glass screen protectors is that it tends to make such readers very difficult to use. I've tried a few brands based on Amazon reviews, and all of them rendered 6T's fingerprint scanner unacceptably difficult to use. Yes, I've tried to rescan my fingerprints many times. Hence, I bought IQ Shield's film once again. Install: as with all wet install films, you need to spray some installation liquid. That's not a problem here. I used the screen wipe included in the package to clear off all dust, lint, and finger smudges. I sprayed a few sprays of liquid directly on to the screen (yes, I know IQ Shield advises against it). I peeled off the film from its backing and applied it on the phone. Without squeezing out any water, I adjusted the film by gently moving it around a bit. When wrinkles occurred, I simply moved some liquid to that area to lubricate and smooth away the wrinkle. Then, I used the included squeegee to get the water out. Tip: do not put the case on immediately upon installation. If border or corners appear lifting off from the screen slightly, simply press down and hold for the film to adhere to the screen. Installing a case before the film fully clings and dries will cause it to peel back up. This film provides full coverage. Fingerprint scanner: works without rescanning. Amazing, and confirms what IQ shield claims for optical transparency. Feel: this is where some folks might get turned off. The primary advantage of glass protectors is that they still give the same gliding feel when you swipe on the screen. IQ shield is different. You will definitely feel a bit more friction, akin to smooth rubber rather than glass. It's not frustrating to me because I'm used to it. If anything, it helps me type better with the onscreen keyboard because the slightly rubbery feel prevents my fingers from sliding off unintentionally. In any case, great product that I was able to install with no difficulty in less than 10 minutes.

Great Protection with Minor Installation Hiccup
I recently purchased the IQ Shield Screen Protector for my phone and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The clarity is outstanding, maintaining the vibrant colors and sharpness of my display. Touch sensitivity remains just as responsive as it was without a screen protector, and the fingerprint scanner works flawlessly which is a deal breaker for me. The screen protector fits my phone perfectly, covering all the edges without interfering with the case. However, the installation process wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped. Despite following the detailed instructions, one of the corner edges popped up and got dirty so it couldn't stick back down. Thankfully it didn't cause the entire screen protector to peel off but it's mildly irritating. I think it may have happened due to the curved edges on the phone. If this came with something to hold the edges while they stick on, it wouldn't have happened. Once installed however, it's been holding up well against everyday wear and tear. No scratches or signs of wear so far, which speaks to its durability. Overall, the IQ Shield Screen Protector offers great protection and performance. If the installation process were a bit easier, this would be a 5-star product.

Love this one
First of all, I wish I could post a pic or video, but I only have the one phone available. I had to replace my previous screen protector as it had little tears in it, and my toddler lifted the corner, resulting in endless bubbles and dust. My tech-bro ex did the last "installation," no idea what he used, but he had a bugger of a time getting it on straight and flat. I assumed I'd also have trouble, and poured through endless product reviews before taking the plunge with this one. I was prepared to be stressed, but it literally comes with everything you need and the simplest directions. I had a glass of wine and banged this out PERFECTLY in under 3 minutes. It's been a few weeks, and it looks amazing. The screen is protected, it looks smooth and flawless, it sticks well, the case doesn't rub against it, zero bubbles, no "rainbow" effect, no yellow tint, reads my finger prints so much more efficiently than the last one did. I really have nothing bad to say. This was a totally satisfying experience. I'll update if needed over the next few months, but I'm at a loss finding even one negative aspect so far. Can I do this for a living?

Sadly worse than useless--
Ive been searching for a valid screen protectors for a OnePlus 11 5g. Tried several claiming to be tempered glass which were /are actually all flimsy plastic that does not protect, adhere, or allow finger print or even face recognition to function. This current product makes several claims, some being: Unlike other common screen protectors, IQ Shield protectors are crafted using a revolutionary process that melds high response accuracy, durability, and non-yellowing, clear transparency into a single layer of flexible yet tough film Classified as a โsmart filmโ and once applied, the IQ Shield seamlessly merges mobile protection and user interactivity into a single enjoyable experience. RESULT: application was fair at best, even following the exact instructions and videos. Not difficult to apply, yet, it does not adhere to the edges, despite holding it down for near 10 mins, squeegeeing carefully and repeatedly, and leaving to dry overnight. The edges still lift. Fingerprint unlock is fair to poor-- it only gest through about 30-40% of the time. Face recognition was a bit better, about 60-75%, but several times the phone indicated the upper surface area was obstructed-- yet the film was fully on ( no bubbles) and flat in that area ( not the edges as mentioned). The BIG ISSUE: This is a thin flexible plastic film (Imagine 3 layers of stretch food covering film). Even if it were fully adhered, it cannot protect the screen from much more than dust. Anything that could scratch it is going to rip right through this thin film, and any substantial drop is going to crack it as it would absent the film. It seems no one can produce a true tempered glass screen cover anymore ( I haves had many for many phones over the years). Not just this supplier, but anyone. No idea why that is the case, but this one is going back and the search continues. BOTTOM LINE It is worse than useless because even in best case application, it is providing a false sense of security that will cost you a damaged screen. Cannot recommend it

Great coverage, Great Sensitivity, Poor "Finish & Durability
This product is probably one of the best screen protectors available for the OnePlus 6T, but unfortunately that does not make it a great screen protector. The packaging was IQ Shield standard -- a nice white box with a well-organized interior with the spray solution in a separate cardboard guard/holder. Installation was easy enough and is standard for any "spray and apply" thin film screen protectors. This one seems to get stuck a little sooner than other, which is actually a benefit as the screen protector does not slide around as easily during installation and squeegee-ing. No problems here -- let cure for 6-8 hours overnight and viola. After the packaging and installation is where this protector deviates from what I expect from IQ Shield. For starters, this screen protector seems thinner than the others I tried on my S7 Edge and HTC 10. Perhaps this is to not interfere with the fingerprint sensor, perhaps it's for another reason. What I do know is that it's so thin that even minor compression can cause unsightly "rainbow effect/bubbles" on the screen when viewed on a white background, e.g. on the settings menu. With my previous IQ Shields, these bubbles always recovered or went away, but they seem to persist on this one, perhaps due to the thinness. These can accumulate if you have your phone in a tighter pocket or in a backpack where it can get bumped, and eventually you're left with several rainbow spots that you just can't un-see. This was a letdown as I this is marketed as one of the "self-healing" films, though it never recovered from pressure marks. A let down in the "durability" department. This screen protector also seems to suffer from quality control issues. Both screen protectors included in the package have rough/jagged edges. While the edges are straight, they have a rough-ish feel to your finger, almost as if the cutting edge that shaped the protector wasn't sharp enough. This slight roughness to the edges makes it so that dust/lint can more easily stick to the edges of the protector while on-screen, and they also produce a slight halo (that is outside the viewing area) as the edges have microbubbles due to the roughness. Another letdown in what I will call the "finish/polish" of the product. This film accumulates a bunch of fingerprints/finger grease over time. It can be cleaned with a thorough microfiber cloth rubbing, but I wish it had a better oleophobic coating. Enough said on that. All-in-all, this WILL protect your screen from scratches and is easy enough to install that it's worth a shot if you're just trying to do that. I still have it on my phone, but that's mainly because I haven't found any alternatives that seem worth a try and the official OnePlus glass protector is too expensive. The little pressure marks and roughness to the edges don't interfere with usage, but are just annoying enough that I constantly notice them. As soon as I find a better option, I'll spring for it. Until that time comes, a 3/5 star screen protector is what I'm stuck with.

Not bad!
I haven't reviewed anything in a while, but I had to come review this one. I just had my 5T repaired a few weeks ago, so I removed my tempered glass protector, and it was to be discarded. Once I got my phone back, I ordered my replacement. It was intended to be a tempered glass one, but either I didn't like the black borders around the screen protector as they LITERALLY interfered with the view on the screen, or the reviews were just not what I was hoping for. So, I took a chance and skipped on the tempered glass, bought this instead. I haven't had a non-tempered-glass protector in a long time so I figured I'd see how these have come along. Now, the installation is unusually involved, I have to say. But, the company has a YouTube video detailing the exact steps you need to take to apply it perfectly and without bubbles. Was I able to do it? Well, no. But my room is dusty as all holy hell and every screen protector I've ever owned has gotten a few bubbles under it, so I wouldn't fault them for this. All that being said, the instructions they gave were super helpful. Were I in a better spot (which, by the way, I've heard that a steamy bathroom after a shower is a great spot because it weighs down all the dust from the air), I think I could have applied this one without any bubbles, which would have been a first for me. And even then, I only got two annoying bubbles under it. Now for functionality. I'm not too keen on throwing my phone every which way, I try to avoid dropping it out of windows, and I'm bored of placing my phone in the street, so I don't know how well it would protect again cracking. Since it's just a membrane, I can't imagine that it would at all. But that's not what it's meant to do. It's meant to protect it from scratches. And so far, not a single scratch. I'm an electrician, so sometimes this beautiful phone would get stuffed into the same picked as pliers, screwdrivers, levels, pump pliers, wrenches, lots of stuff that should scratch up your phone. Not the slightest bit of damage has come to my screen. And not only that, but you would think that that level of protection would come at the cost of an uncomfortable feeling when swiping across the screen. But this thing has been a genuine pleasure. It feels great and it protects well. Now, again, I'm a tempered glass guy. For my last tempered glass protector, I paid less for a two-pack of them than I did for this. I was skeptical about the value, but I am now a believer. This screen protector is WORTH more than a pair of tempered glass screen protectors. If you're looking for a screen protector that'll take care of your screen, you've found it. Click buy now, wait a few days, and enjoy.

Fantastic product! It requires some patience, though.
So, this is my first time using a screen protector with a wet install. The instructions are clear and explain the process perfectly. The instructions tell you to spray the water/detergent solution on BOTH sides of the screen protector as you peel off the paper on the adhesive side. Make sure to follow that step, because squeegeeing the front side is far easier when it is wet. Also, it is imperative to spray the "sticky" side as well. It may seem odd at first, but spray a lot on there. You really want the protector to kind of float on your screen so you can adjust it before squeegeeing out the solution. Another note: give it about 15 minutes to cure. When the solution is first applied and the screen protector is drying, if you turn on your screen, it will appear multicolored - kind of like it's magnifying the pixels on your screen. I used the first screen protector (it comes with two), saw the rainbow pattern on my screen, and thought I messed something up or used too much or too little solution. I ended up peeling it off and starting over with the second one. Come to find out, I used too little solution (there were air bubbles in the dry spots) and the solution had not cured at all, which caused the weird rainbow pattern on my screen. I've had it on my phone for a few days now, and it's crystal clear. The fingerprint scanner works perfectly, and there are zero bubbles thanks to the wet application of the screen protector. 5/5 stars!

Mostly Great
I watched the YouTube instructions and read the book that came with it ten times each. I tried to get it to stick properly but there were tiny bubbles. I asked a former lab tech with steady hands to give it a try and there were still tiny bubbles. Just a couple of small ones, but one is in an annoying spot. It is invisible everywhere else, feels great, no interference while using it, etc.. If you are the type who is good at building models and you can follow instructions meticulously, maybe you'll have better luck getting it perfectly flat than we did. If I could manage to get it bubble free, I'd give it 5/5. I've had it on about two weeks now.
