Not Very Sturdy
This item will work but it is very flimsy and hard to lock open.

Fits perfect into a 8by16 opening
Replaced all 6 of my vents east to install I calked the inside of vent then installed only thing is the 4 screws are hard for big hands to tighten but I managed seems to be a pretty good product at a fair price

its was easy too replace my broken foundation vent with your product thanks made it easy no crawling under the house

Cheap
First ones were broken fron no packing in the box vents were in box and screws were thrown in. Hard to get them started in holes for them. Some were broken. They were replaced for free. Installed them and they kept falling apart. Very very cheap

Completely installed without entering crawl-space under house.
These are exactly what I wanted. I have siding which would prevent me from mounting other thicker, deeper units with automatic louvers from outside the house. Not only do they install and function beautifully, I got the grey ones which match my house.

I returned these. One arrived with a piece broken and the other one was missing a screw. I didn't think they would last or provide a lasting cover that would keep critters out of my crawl space.
