Very Strong Spring. Keeps My Layers Secure
I got these for hand quilting and love the bright colors. The springs are extra strong, which makes them hard for me to open them. That's the bad news (for me and anyone who deals with arthritis or carpal tunnel). The good news is that you can attach your quilt sandwich to your quilting rack and feel confident that your piece is going to stay put. If you don't have a quilting rack, you can roll up the ends for lap or floor quilting and feel confident that your layers are going to remain in position as you work. These might also work for free-motion quilting.

Great, strong clips for quilting!
Great clips for quilting! I had the round quilt clips and they kept falling off and didn’t really hold the quilt while I was hand quilting it. These are strong and firm and hold the rolled up quilt so that I can manage it. I’ll definitely be buying more of these!

Good quilting clips
The clips are large, good to hold larger quilts. But they're hard to open. I guess that could be a good thing in that they'll hold the rolled up fabric well.

Great quality and versatile
Was looking for a study clamp, easy to open and had a larger gap area. I’ve been using these for sewing projects but there’ll be other projects these will work. These are good quality, a value for the money and easy to use.
