Five stars. I knew this was going to be a suprise set of basil. I did not know the seeds would all be mixed in one packet. I am so excited to watch these babies grow and see what is what.

What a waste of time and money, not even a single plant grew. I followed the instructions on the package. There is no way to return it because I opened the package and poured it on the soil and waited for it to grow, but it didn't. Who is responsible?

I had been looking for purple basil and Thai basil seeds and when I found these, I thought "how fun! We'll have a mystery garden bed!" It's been 6 days since planting and I'd say they are about 60% germinated already which is a really high rate as they usually call for an 8-14 day window. I'm looking forward to filling an entire 2'x4' raised bed with my basil! UPDATE June 2020: 9 plants in this bed plus another 4 in other beds (mixed in a hot pepper and cilantro plant in this bed). I'm looking forward to a plethora of pesto, salads and Thai cooking this summer! Very happy with the seed quality and the basil tastes delicious too. UPDATE Aug 2020: I have so much basil, I have to text my neighbors every week "come take some!"

They have germinated rather quickly at about 80%+/- success. Cant wait to see what kinds we end up with lol We went ahead and planted them all. UPDATE- Over 100 are successfully growing! I am growing the mix to sale at the Farmers Market this Spring. You have made a solid customer out of me lol I also purchased the Eggplant mix and, Lettuce Mix. Its not the amount i was expecting but it is alot of seeds and basil seeds are small. The plant grows fast in the caribbean so i had no problem with growth. Would buy again even tho its a small package. Its still worth it once they grow

Appears to be predominantly two types of basil. Seeds are good but variety missing

I bought these seeds originally in July 2022 and forgot about them. Planted some this year and the germination rate is fantastic. Will be purchasing more from this seller in the future.

I planted all my seeds and they are growing. But, 90% of the seeds are this plant. There are not 12 varieties. After much research, I can’t figure out what type of basil this is in my photos. Or if it’s basil at all. What worries me are the green berries. Does anyone know? I ingested it for 2 weeks, thinking it was the holy basil. Started feeling bad, so I sadly had to throw away all of this particular plant because a master gardener said it was a weed. It’s been growing since the end of October.
