Sizing runs REALLY small, so be sure to order a size bigger than you need... We had to return our first one because i ordered two sizes larger, but it was TOO big (my fault). Just be sure to order one size larger than you need, and it will be within tolerance for adjustment(s).

My nephew loves this. It is a tad bit tight, so I'll have to get him a large one before long. Well made.

This vest is very good quality and fits true to size. Purchased for a gift and it was perfect.

from the kid "I use it all the time, every time I go to the rodeo, when I ride those bulls. that's it." (I ordered Large for our boy who's a bit taller than average for 5 year old. He's now six and loves it still. The width is pretty roomy and adjustable with it's velcro sides. He's getting taller and it fits okay. As he sprouts I hope this fits him in length through his bullrider days. : ) ) I'll try to add the length and width when he gets home from today's rodeo. It also doubles as a bulletproof vest when he plays policeman. Size Large vest's measurements: length from top of shoulder strap at neck to bottom front hem @ 14" and to bottom rear hem 16", that is measured with the @ 3" velcro adjuster strap as shown in photo, meaning you have a couple more inches or so to extend vest. The "x" stitched on lighter collar area has velcro under it. Width under armpits is 15 1/2 " and that's with almost 4" velcro aduster straps that are darker color on back side of vest, not extended. I guess Velcro straps could also be drawn in shorter too Might be too bulky and cover logos if draw in more to narrow for smaller sizes but they grow so fast... velcro extenders do help extend use of vest as they grow!
