Has anyone got this to work on Mac OS Mojave? I can dynamically load the driver but if I try to add it to the Extensions folder the system won't boot.

It works but the Aquantia thunderbolt version works far better. (Aquantia makes the USB -> 5 GbE for QNAP)

With this work in a samsung s20 or Tab7+?

Unlikely. It was created by Aquantia (now Marvel) for QNAP. QNAP does not offer any Android devices.

Does this work in a wnap 870 pro, where does it show up in qts ?

The QNA-UC5G1T will work well in a TS-870 Pro with an i3 or better CPU. The CPU has sufficient speed and cores to overcome the load of driving it over USB 3.0

Is this fully supported on macos catalina now?

no, it will work but there are no signed SIP drivers currently and I doubt there will be.
