I kick box a lot and i am glad i bought these LIKES: -they allow you to kick harder -no more 'slap' sting -tight and well stitched -teaches you to 'spring' on the balls of your feet rather than staying flat -machine washable, yet remains tight DISLIKES: -only dislike is on the white stitching closest to the toes there is a small 'bump' formed, felt on the BOTTOM of the foot, from where the stitching meets. if the stitching started and ended on the inside side of the foot (closest to the arc) it would not be felt while walking or kicking. OVERALL: great purchase, works very well for an amazing price. buy it if you kick box or even if you want some ankle support lol

* It works really great. I enjoy it and use it. * Machine-washable. * So small that you can place them in a standard size pocket folded. * It does help stabilize your ankle; even outside the gym. I know, I've used it this way a few times. It's like a thick wool sock and can get tight if you wear it throughout the day. * However, if you wear it just a few hours, you'll feel some stability from it. * As pictured, it does not protect the toes, so if you kick with your instep (i.e. Side Kick, Roundhouse, etc...) and you use excessive force, you may feel it on your instep. However, if like me, you are training with a bag and kick a bit off (using the ball of your foot), then this will help keep you from feeling too much pain. * They look great and provide decent traction when moving with your whole foot. Shifts of stance done on the balls of your foot have no impact on these and vice versa. However, sliding side, front and other auxiliary kicks that require some dragging on the floor are a tad easier with these on (since they slide a bit). * Finally, these just look awesome in and of themselves (I use them in conjunction with my handwraps so I can utilize soft styles and hard styles during practice) . I am definitely happy with my purchase and I plan to keep them for a long time. I highly recommend them as a more inexpensive and more portable version of sparring footwear, but NOT a replacement (especially for dojos).

I bought these for my husband as a stocking stuffer this past Christmas. He is very thankful for them. He has bad ankles that like to roll on him or get sprained whenever he does anything even remotely active. Since he's been wearing these, he's been smiling again after running, playing basketball, or other activities. THAT'S A BIG DEAL! He says that they offer much more support than the ACE wraps he'd been using. The only downside (and it's a small price to pay) is that the white seams at either end of the wraps leave red indentations in the skin after wearing them for even just a half hour. It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but my husband says it's definately NOT painful. So, we love these. I may get him another pair just for backup.

It's possible that I reviewed these before, I don't recall. But when I first got them, I didn't like them very much. Now I love them (go figure). They took me some getting used to. I wear them for both arch and ankle support for running. Here's what I don't like about them, or at least, what I had to get used to. The white edging creates a little ridge which can be uncomfortable. I wear them over my socks, that helps a lot, but can pull the sock too tight, so again, a bit of a learning curve. Otherwise, they give me excellent ankle and arch support (much better then the beige Ace product), particularly when combined with proper insoles. At the first sign of plantar fasciitis or ankle pain I put these on and start my stretching, big help there. A word of caution: Do not wash. The washing machine and/or dryer will ruin them. Give them a quick rinse and hang them over the shower, they dry quickly. I only rinse them every few wearings. They last great that way. But if you wash them, you will make the elastic brittle.

Yeah... These are great. I have a size 14 and am 6'0, 150 lbs. I am very slim. These cover about 1/8th of my foot, not 1/2th like in the picture, and a lot more of my shin. In fact, compression? These things are BAGGY. I have size 14 feet (in fairness, granted I have very NARROW feet. I need like a 14 length, 7 width shoe. I always have too much room in my shoe) But yeah, it works, they're attractive, good for the price. Mine did come with a rip on each piece, I can feel it's structurally weaker there... It will likely rip during my intense thai practice 4 times , 6 days a week. It's sized for your average guy.... Not a kickboxer. Tall , lanky guys... this isn't for you so much. This is for big, 5'8 ish guys with size 9 feet with "fat" (large circumference) legs and feet. Because it shows a compression photo? ..... Please.... It's baggy on me. They show it leaving a compression imprint in dudes foot. It can barely stay on my foot. I'm 25 years old, 18 years martial arts experience. BS in science in Biology. Plus, I feel I could get this for $5.99 or tops $8.99 at a store, and it cost me $13.00 something by the time I choose the most basic shipping. (Shipped INCREDIBLY fast) but, If i bought it at a store, I could pick a pair that WASN'T ripped up. Last time I wrote a review about one of my products coming damaged, amazon censored it. I'm not lying, I swear this product came with a rip on one above the ankle, and a rip on the other above the foot part. They are structural rips where it's going to come apart. I do affirm, however, that these are great and definitely good for $8.99. Not so much for $13 something, depends if you count shipping as a "charge" FOR your item or for the service, the shipping was INSANE fast.

Okay! So here's the skinny on these. I bought these for Taekwondo, they are not something I would use for say volleyball or basketball as they only provide light support and are flexible. They are like a pull-on ankle wrap which is very efficient. Make sure the white piping isn't folded under when you put them on and it shouldn't cause you problems. Now, the big issue...SIZING! I noticed on the site that there were photos labeled "youth/women" and photos not labeled so I assumed those were men's sizes. I wear a size 9/9.5 in women's (sneakers) and an 8.5 in men's (sneakers) so I thought the men's size would be fine, NOPE (I ordered both the youth/women's and the men's to try) The men's are too big and they are cut differently (the holes are much larger-especially the one for the heel)!!! If you are a female with size 9 feet the youth will be just fine nice and snug!

I've been wearing these for about two weeks now. I do circuit training and kickboxing 5 days a week for a couple hours. I also wear them during jits and judo practice and give them a good hand wash everyday. With that amount of use and the price I paid for them vs more expensive alternatives I expected these to fall apart quickly. Fortunately they have held up extremely well, and other than the orange paint on the logo washing off they look almost as good as when I first got them. Before these I had a pair of Nike ankle wraps that started to rip and dethread only after a couple training sessions. These are extremely comfortable and my ankles and feet thank me for the extra support these wraps offer. They get a big thumbs up from me, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for ankle wraps.

Bought for Muay Thai. Bought the youth size as I'm a women's size 9 shoe. Fit perfect. Great price and product. Husband bought the men's and he's also happy with them!

Lightweight but really do help, vital for winter training to avoid those pesky winter sprains etc.

I bought XL for size 13 feet, 6'4" 110kg. If I was to buy another pair I'd probably try out the Large next time. They fit well but I think a tiny bit more compression could be better. I often get a sore ankle on my lead leg from pivoting on round kicks, might be coincidence but since I started wearing these my ankle pain has basically gone away, so I think these work well
