**Q: I need to trim an iron gate. Will these do the job ?**
A: The advert mentioned 'metal'. I haven't tried it myself but wrought iron gates are usually made of mild steel which is relatively soft so they should be OK. Probably won't be good for much afterwards though. An angle grinder might be better.
