One thing I also like about this hydrometer, (not forgetting to mention that it says my well water is SG 0.00 so no cal or offset needed) is that it seems to avoid sticking to the sides of my graduated cylinder better than the old one ... not sure really WHY, but it just seems to be more cooperative. I'd buy it again, but sure hope I don't have to. This one works great. It is easy to read and the case it comes in is solid.... this is a very good thing as the glass is very thin. If you handle with care this is a great tool. Just be careful. With that in mind, I still recommend it but wish it was a bit thicker glass.
