This machine is excellent. Works great and having so much fun with it!! My only gripe is that it only goes so high or low with the temp so certain recipes I can’t do. But it works for most things and I’m happy with everything I’ve made. Venison jerky was da bomb.

I can't believe how nice this is. I went through a lot of listings for other brands and was very worried about the amount of plastic in the so called "high end" models. I went with this model because it was all stainless steel (and had the best reviews). The Ivation dehydrator (I got the 10 tray model) looks and feels like it was twice the cost. Everything about it is so well made, I was very impressed when taking it out of the box and it looks so good I don't mind leaving it out all the time (which is good because it is big!). There are a few features that I would have considered paying more for, if they were available as options. Being able to accurately set the temperature instead of the "9 degree" increments would have been nice. I'm new to dehydrating and if the recipe says 135 degrees, I would feel better setting it to the exact temperature instead of deciding to go higher or lower. I wish you could turn the beeping sound down or off, as it is a little loud. I would also have liked to purchase more of the fruit leather trays, as it only came with one. I haven't seen that as an option, though. But those aren't deal breakers for me. I would much rather have a high quality product at a very reasonable price and trade off a few features that aren't very important to me anyways. One other important feature for me besides the materials used to construct it is the size. And this thing is huge! I plan on gardening this year and I really want to dehydrate a lot of the harvest. Right now I have about 6 pounds of apples drying (sliced at about 3/16 of an inch). This would have taken days to get through the oven or a small dehydrator. I don't have an oven thermometer so I can't check the accuracy of the temperature setting. I am curious and will try to remember to update when I get one and check it out. Overall, really thrilled with this purchase!

Really love this dehydrator. Amazing capacity, easy to clean with the provided drip tray, consistent and accurate temperature. Noise level of the fan is great, very quiet. Dries fruit very consistently, regardless of position in the trays. Already used for apple chips, raspberries, several fruit leathers. Looking forward to many other things! My only frustration with it is the very loud beeping noise when the timer completes. Unable to turn off, shorten or quiet it down. Not good for batches that may finish in the middle of the night. Have learned to schedule batches that won't alert at a bad time, so can work with it.

Recently purchased after having had a disastrous experience with two other manufacturer’s dehydrators. So far, finding this an excellent product, with the possible exception that the owner’s manual is astonishingly thin - absent any meaningful detailed information for dehydrating techniques, absolutely no recipes (DEFINITELY order WITH some accompanying dehydrating book, unless they’re previously in possession...). In summary: easy to operate, easy to clean, handsome equipment, not unpleasantly noisy, study - not “cheaply” constructed, works exactly as desired for dehydrating functions... A very good product, a satisfactory purchase for a highly discerning shopper. Recommended...✨🏹

Love this dehydrator. I had such a hard time deciding between it and the Excalibur. This won out because of the stainless steel and price point. I have used it almost daily and it does not disappoint. The only down side that I have found is that while the racks are supposed to be square, they are in fact off just enough that they only go into the oven in one direction. I solved the guessing with the red and orange oven rack shields you see in the picture. They work great and I highly recommend you getting them to go with this.

We've used this only a couple of times thus far. Ours has no rattles, only less-than-moderate fan noise, but enough that I'm glad we can keep it in the garage. Trays fit snuggly and clean easily. Love the basic time and temp control system. We've only done our orchard's apples so far, and they leave virtually no residuals. April 2020 update: this continues to be a very nice unit that we're quite pleased with. Recently used some grass-fed beef (which does not make great burgers btw, perhaps because it's too lean) and a "Judge" jerky gun to make some jerky, which we've never done before. Great!

I bought this September 16th, 2020 and used it for 2 months to dry chile peppers. Brought it out again in September of 2021 to repeat. It worked for 1 month and then just stopped (wouldn’t turn on or anything). I thought maybe customer service could help me trouble shoot (no trouble shooting ideas came with the directions). I was 10 days past the warranty, so they wouldn’t talk to me on the phone, but rather sent me to an email address. They basically said, you’re over the warranty so tough luck. I spent a lot of money on this product, and would think I could get a longer life out of it. At the very least I thought customer service could have given me some ideas to fix it. At the most they could have looked at the warranty and said 10 days past was still pretty close. I have used an American Harvest and the Gardenmaster dehydrators before and they do a great job, are bigger, cheaper, last forever. Will stick with them from now on.

Fantastic product. Dried fruit in half the time of my round, plastic dehydrator and has several times the capacity. The entire batch dried perfectly evenly, no rotating racks. Temperature control and timer are very nice to have. All metal construction gives me peace of mind. Even at high heat, you can remove the racks bare-handed. Whisper quiet. Saves me a lot of time, and keeps produce from going off that otherwise would, due to large capacity.

Llegó en tiempo y en buenas condiciones. Funciona muy bien, sí deshidrata mis productos 2 horas menos que con otras marcas. Lo único es que no puedes apilar las charolas con el producto deshidratado por su forma, tienes que trasladar de una por una, cosa que con las charolas de otras marcas usadas anteriormente como tenían un relieve hacia arriba, sí podrías mover 2 o 3 apiladas. Fuera de eso, funciona muy bien.

EN :A dehydrator that works perfectly! I made jerky of beef, turkey, geese, moose, ducks and every time it was a real success. It dries the meat quickly and perfectly! As it heats up quickly, it takes about 6 hours to make jerky for 1/8 thick slices and up to 8-9 hours for 1 inch by 1 inch sticks. I also made dried bananas, another success. Honestly, this is my first dehydrator and I am really glad I chose this product. I recommand it ! Just to say, the stainless steel plates never get dirty, nothing sticks to it and the whole product is extremely easy to clean FR : Un déshydrateur qui fonctionne parfaitement ! J'ai fait du jerky de boeuf, de dinde, de bernache, d'orignal, canards et à tous les coups ce fû un véritable succès. Il sèche la viande rapidement et parfaitement ! Comme il chauffe rapidement, cela prend environ 6h pour faire du jerky pour des tranches de 1/8 d'épaisseur et jusqu'à 8-9h pour des batonnets de 1 pouce par 1 pouce. J'ai également fait des bananes séchées, un autre succès. Honnêtement, c'est mon premier désydrateur et je suis vraiment content d'avoir choisi ce produit. Je le recommande ! Juste pour dire, les plaques en acier inoxidable ne se salissent jamais, rien ne collent dessus et l'ensemble du produit est extrêmement facile à netoyer ES : ¡Un deshidratador que funciona perfectamente! Great product. I have every confidence in it. Very happy with it. User notes: The dehydrator comes with one plastic sheet that overlays the stainless steel tray. And it's fine but what if you have more than one tray requiring that kind of plastic sheet. For the fruits and veggies and the cookies and such that I dehydrate I found a 6 pack of Silicon sheets - an example of part of one is shown in the picture here. They are fantastic. Theyadded about $20 to the cost (from a different supplier) but a great product that works beautifully with this elegant machine. If I'm dehydrating apples or bananas, for example, I don't want the fruit on the stainless steel grid directly and these silicon sheets - which you will see are porous if you can make the picture bigger - are wonderful: easy to clean and they don't stain and they allow the air to move through the product being dehydrated. I think the stainless steel racks might be more difficult and time consuming to clean it in direct touch with the food items. I also purchased some Teflon sheets, a 9 pack, and these were non-porous if you're making stuff that is a little runny ... like fruit leathers. Don't be alarmed if they stain. I don't know why. It was a little disappointing at first to see these new and reusable sheets getting stained but this doesn't take away from how well they function to keep drops from dripping from the food tray. I don't use them too often because of the items that I mostly dehydrate. But overall I couldn't be happier with this product. It really is simple to use and fast to set up each new series of trays with its simple controls. I enjoyed a previous dehydrator, cheaper, round plastic thing. It worked okay. And I set up my daughter with the top brand name in consumer dehydrators ... And value wise this is the best machine out of all of them. It is professional grade and I'm betting it could stand up to commercial production levels if I wanted to produce a bunch of product to sell. The air flow seems to be fine. The timing send to be fine. The temperature that I work with is the 113 degrees F since I don't want to go over 118 degrees and while I haven't tested it I am sure that it is properly registering within a degree or two. Perfect for my needs. Okay, for those of you who need it: this machine looks great. Perfect for my industrial style kitchen. It looks like a mini oven. And certainly makes the kitchen look very cool. I didn't buy it for that reason but everyone who sees it is totally impressed. It's big, books, and beautiful. And it works great.

I purchased the 6 tray dehydrator and it is very large. (In a good way). Works super well, better than your small plastic standard dehydrator. But Both will get the job done. With this dehydrator there is a fan that circulates the hot air to provide even dehydration. Which I really like, it makes it a lot quicker than a standard dehydrator that doesn’t circulate. This fan thankfully runs very quiet, sounds like a super quiet AC so it’s not silent like your standard cheap dehydrator with no fan. You can adjust the temperature and timer. By the door a lot of heat seems to escape which worried me, but it doesn’t seem to matter. The one thing I absolutely HATE about this dehydrator is how loud the beeping is!!! When you turn it on, adjust the temperature, or the timer the dehydrator beeps once. It’s so obnoxiously loud and for what? When it’s done dehydrating it beeps a total of 20 times? I don’t know why it can’t just beep a few times. The first time I didn’t think it stopped, I thought maybe you had to open the door or manually stop it because it beeps so much. The only way to stop the timer is to unplug it or stop it before the timer goes. I wish you could turn off the beeping or lower the volume. Still over all 5 stars.

Funciona a la perfección, excelente calidad de los materiales, es bastante grande si vas a comprarlo, primero piensa en donde lo vas a poner, es muy fácil de usar.
