Very happy with this chair! It is so sturdy and does not move at all whenever you sit down. It’s a bit heavy to carry, but it’s worth it to have the sturdiness while sitting. Wish I would’ve bought these sooner and I plan on buying four more!

This heavy-duty camp chair is outstanding and built to handle serious use. The frame feels extremely sturdy and supportive, easily holding weight without any wobble or creaking. The seating is comfortable, with solid fabric that doesn’t sag even after long periods of sitting. It folds and unfolds smoothly, making it convenient to set up at campsites, fishing spots, or outdoor events. We use lawn chairs often, and this one is my favorite. We go to dog shows and horse events, where we sit all day to watch the granddaughters compete. At age 72, I appreciate a sturdy, comfortable chair. An added feature to this one is the little insulated pouch to keep a drink cool. Very happy with this purchase.

We love these chairs when it's hot out - the mesh bottom and back make a huge difference for cooling and don't trap heat and sweat. Also love one BIG cup holder and one smaller holder. The big one will fit your weather bottle, big cups, etc. There is also a mesh pocket on the back for tucking in the bag or anything else and side pockets that are probably handy but we don't really think to use. (Great for phone or a tablet would fit, too.) The bag also has mesh section, which is nice if the chair is a little damp when you put it away - that would allow some airflow to dry it, though we always set them up to dry when we get home if they get wet. The chair is also pretty easy to get back into the bag - we have the coleman chairs with the little cooler in one side, which is handy for storing stuff (I don't think we've ever used them as actual coolers!) but they are frustrating to get back into the bags! A con for this chair is that the bags are a bit delicate, one of the two had a big hole at the bottom within a few uses - pretty easily fixed with black duct tape. Doesn't look great but doesn't look awful, either. The other BIG con is that the arms constantly slip down with any pressure and are basically unusable unless you're very careful. Drinks are fine because they're at the front, which is supported by the arm bar but the back rubber rings are too wide and what is intended to allow you to adjust the arm height just becomes a constantly dropping arm in the back unless you place your arms very carefully and don't push too hard. We're figuring out a fix for that. Otherwise we love these chairs for hot weather. We are also huge fans of the attachable umbrellas for adjustable shade and these chairs with the umbrellas make the perfect hot weather setup! These would not be good in cold and windy weather as they provide no insulation.

We purchased 2 of these chairs after being left disappointed by a couple of other chairs that finally bit the dust. Generally we don't spend too much on these types of chairs since they are usually poorly constructed and not worth the money. However, the Alpha camp chairs were worth the money. Heavy duty and well built. We take them everywhere we need some portable seating like tailgates or local sporting events. I am a big guy at 6'1 and 270 pounds. I fit really well in this chair. It is a good height for my legs and very comfy to sit in. Other members in our family are tall like me and they love the chair as well. My wife who is shorter enjoys the chairs as well. She said she likes the roominess feeling of it. The construction is really nice and there has been no real complains. If anything I think the bag is a little thin material wise. I noticed a few small holes developing near the feet and bottom part. This is after a number of weekends of use. This is different for us since we usually wear the chairs the out before the bag it stores in. Go figure.

This is a re-purchase as these camp chairs are unbelievable. The beauty is leaving them out and because they have mesh seating rqin never collects in the seat and they dry very quickly. They are worth every penny and they’re comfortable. I think the weight limit is 250 pounds so these are pretty freaking amazing.

Solidly made area on arm to keep foods warm!

I purchased this chair back in 2024 and was so excited about it. Unfortunately, almost immediately, the fabric loop connecting the zippers to the cooler pouch broke. Okay, not a huge issue. Then, not long after (maybe a few months of using it once every couple of weeks?), the fabric on the right arm of the chair ripped slightly, so that the frame poked through the arm and the arm fabric would slide down. Inconvenient, for sure, but the chair was still usable, so fine. Well finally, today, the right arm fabric ripped entirely and the arm is no longer usable. The chair itself now feels unstable structurally, and I’ll be replacing it asap with something else. I maybe got 20-30 uses out of it, total. I wanted so badly to love this chair, but I cannot recommend it.

I will use this folding chair often, outdoors when I see a nice spot. This chair is extremely well made and I will be buying at lease one more!! Best money I ever spent!! Jerome Haug

Exactly what you receive, unfortunately for older individuals you need the sturdiness of the arm rest when standing. The arm rest slide down as your getting up. If you can stand without holding onto arm rests it’s perfect. If you need support while standing, purchase something that has a firm arm rest.
